Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a charming game that I was smiling while playing almost entirely. It will likely get lost amonth after the Spider-Man and Astro Bot mainstays, but this game is more than worth checking out. Especially for those looking for something to play with their family and friends. It is a whimsical adventure that finally makes me enjoy a game featuring Sackboy, and that is a win in and of itself.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure represents a nearly forgotten genre of game, and represents it in fine fashion. Competent if not revolutionary platforming propels Sackboy through a stunning world full of fun set pieces and clever writing, while an approachable challenge level opens the experience to all skill levels. It’s about having fun, and Sackboy’s first full adventure absolutely succeeds.

Where Sackboy: A big Adventure proves most winsome isn't in its play but in the surfeit of its surrounding glitter.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a blast to play, no matter where you play it. Its PS4 shortcomings only lie with with graphic fidelity and loading times. Apart from that, Sackboy is back and better than ever on all fronts and generations.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is an enjoyable platforming game that feels like familiar territory. It's a solid launch title, and will satisfy fans of the genre and the LittleBigPlanet franchise, but it doesn't do a whole lot to showcase the PS5.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a great family-friendly platformer, that makes good use of DualSense unique properties, but also features some really memorable, dense, and original levels. The only drawbacks here are mandatory blue sphere collection and co-op only worlds that you can't complete solo without any friends or family members.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure, although it initially didn't wink at me, ultimately disproved me in the most humiliating way. Sumo Digital's platformer brought back memories of the original LittleBigPlanet and overall delivers a very fun and enjoyable 10 hours, which you can experience together with three other friends.

Sackboy has never been cuter, and in short, thanks to the added full-fledged story, you see him as the little hero who can do impossible things. The game takes a recommendation of 8 points and is another great family exclusive game, which we simply missed on PlayStation.

I'm very happy to see Sackboy back in action with Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and what better way than a PS5 launch title that plenty of gamers will play. Few modern PlayStation mascots hold a candle to this loveable ball of yarn. On their second attempt, did Sumo Digital succeed in creating a great exclusive?

If you don’t have enough skill to play some Crash Bandicoot games, just forget about them and focus on "Sackboy: A Big Adventure". Stunning visuals, creative levels and neverending searching for costumes should leave you pleased and delighted with new Sumo Digital creation.

I wasn’t sure we would be seeing Sackboy again after not seeing him in over 6 years, but I’m certainly glad he’s back and front and centre in this engaging platformer that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. I’m certainly keen for his next adventure, and really hope we don’t have to wait so long next time.

It doesn’t take a lot of risks. You’ll run around a little hub world choosing visiting shops and choosing levels filled with various running and jumping challenges, plus some signature Sackboy moves involving tugging, pushing and hanging onto stuff. But it’s well executed and wonderfully easy to just sit down and play for 20 minutes here or there.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is easily one of the most charming and delightful games of the year, and another knockout launch title for the PlayStation 5 - and that's saying something considering it has to compete with Astro's Playroom. The levels are all creatively designed and endearing, the customizable choices for Sackboy is reminiscent of LittleBigPlanet, and the music is top-notch.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a platformer game with some little traditional mechanics that will catch all your attention. You can play with children, with friends or familly in some several levels, but if you prefer you can play alone. The plot is simple and enjoyable and the music will accompany Sackboy during the scenaries. You can't miss this videogame!
