The dark and creepy world from Tarsier is still as excellent in Little Nightmares II as it was in the original. With decent puzzle-platforming, and a few new mechanics to keep things fresh, the sequel revels in all things big, small, and grotesque.

Little Nightmares II is bigger and bolder, which builds upon the foundations from the first game. The game is host to a disgusting, decaying world that opens up as you progress through each chapter. Its inhabitants will haunt your dreams for days and the emotional connection it draws between Mono and Six with absolutely no dialogue is powerful. It is worth noting that certain combat encounters and high stakes moments can become troublesome and do provide occasional road blocks which prevent the game from reaching its full potential. As it stands though, Little Nightmares II is a thrill ride filled with visually striking moments of pure nightmare fuel, which may invite you to leave your lamp on for the foreseeable future.

An impressive return from Tarsier Studios, excellent immersive atmosphere that is filled with interesting enemies and frustratingly-good puzzles.

Little Nightmares II arrives as a sequel that delivers a dark adventure full of puzzles and feels like a journey through a charming nightmare. Being that it is so similar to its predecessor, you should also expect the same setbacks, such as short duration, clunky controls and poor replayability.

Little Nightmares 2 is a little too short but it offers a great horror with some stealth and platforming.

Little Nightmares II is a gem of a game that successfully builds on everything that made the first one great. It's a short but well-polished and atmospheric horror-platformer that oozes with creepy charm. While its core physics-based platformer gameplay hasn't seen many radical changes, the setting, storytelling, and world-building alone make it worth experiencing. If you're a fan of the first entry or the likes of Limbo or Inside, LM2 is well worth the adventure … if you dare.

A fantastic sequel soaked in atmosphere and tension. Little Nightmares II surpasses its predecessor far beyond what anyone would have expected. An outstanding finale which stretches from the finale boss fight from the closing credits will have fans desperate for a third installment.

Little Nightmares 2 is a safe sequel in terms of gameplay, but what makes this game really important is its story.

Little Nightmares II is a sequel that everyone can love especially those die-hard fans of the franchise. You’re still greeted with unexpected threats lurking in every dark corner, the uneasy feeling you get when you walk through corridors and windows, and the unexpected twist at the end. I had a great time in my 5-6 hours of playthrough and I can say, it’s worth binging through all the chapters in one sitting. But that ending, wow.

Little Nightmares 2 is exactly what a sequel should be. It’s bigger, nastier, more varied, rectifies flaws from the original, and enriches the world that came before. Survival horror games are typically the most celebrated within the horror genre, yet Little Nightmares 2 is an outlier which proves platformers are more than capable of delivering the creeps.

If you were excitedly waiting for the second part, the sequel will certainly not disappoint you, quite the opposite. Great action and horror scenes, scary enemies, interesting puzzles, harmonious underlining music, strong emotions, an outlined story that raises questions and a unique stylization of the world of Little Nightmares await you. However, for enthusiastic players of horror games, it will not be such a strong experience due to the content of the same episodes, and therefore predictability. We were left with so many questions about the unexplained story that we wouldn't be surprised if we got a third part from the developers at Tarsier Studios in the future.

Little Nightmares II presents a perfect blend of enjoyment, frustration, modern horror and wonder. Much like the first instalment, it is a rather short game but it leaves you wanting more rather than leaving you feeling short-changed.

And then there's the twisty narrative of the Little Nightmares universe, a subject the first game's players were already deeply engrossed in. I'd hopped into forums about fan theories, explanations, and implications of different messages from the first game before the sequel's credits had even finished rolling, and I suspect many others will do the same. Though my time playing Little Nightmares II may have come to an end, consider me hooked and eager to see what Tarsier Studios and the Little Nightmares detectives have to say about the franchise in the future.

Little Nightmares 2 is one of the beautiful games and titles that you should not miss and its a must buy. It is a masterpiece in all aspects, from the story, style of play and music to the dazzling and bleak graphics that give you the fear factor, as it demonstrated the ability of the developer to make us feel terrified and excited constantly by putting up New ideas ,despite the many risks.
