Shattered - Tale of the Forgotten King Reviews
Despite the beautiful character and environmental designs, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King has some mechanical issues.
Shattered - Tale of the Forgotten King is a game set in a beautiful, stylised world that is sadly too opaque and flawed to recommend.
Although inspired on the artistic level, the debut title of Redlock Studio suffers from a still unripe technical realization, which goes to affect in particular the combat system. Soulslike with more than appreciable platforming contaminations, Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King can therefore only represent an opportunity for improvement for the French team, which must however be recognized for having created a suggestive world with a very well written story.

Simultaneously engrossing while desperately in need of focus and polish, Shattered is a hard game to recommend in its current state. But its strengths will make it worth a look for fans of Souls-likes when more of its issues are ironed out.
Shattered - Tale of the Forgotten King is brimming with potential. Unfortunately, it's too buggy, boring, and repetitive to realize that potential.
Though the game may look like a work of art, there are many things about it that make me think Redlock have released this without adding the finishing brushstrokes.
Shattered - Tale of the Forgotten King is a mediocre souls-like at best, but what makes it worth your time is its unique world with intriguing mythology.

This trippy Soulslike struggles with the weight of its ambition, among other issues.
Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King proves to be a good game with an intriguing storyline, charismatic characters, captivating lore, and an artistic choice that stands out, serving as a testament to the potential and love of its developing team.
