NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is the best starting point to discover one of the greatest franchises ever made by Square Enix in recent times. The title is much more than a simple remaster, correcting the main flaws that its original version had, while raising it to a level close to that of its successor. It is gratifying to know that such a title has finally been able to see the light of day again after spending years stuck on a platform.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a wonderful opportunity to meet and enjoy a game that deserves to break out of its niche status, as its formidable sequel has done. I take my hat off to the restoration work, as well as I praise that the original experience is so direct, with the edges that may be there at certain points such as the scarcity of scenarios and areas of action. But by being so respectful in his excellent job of updating, many more players enjoy in a more fluid and improved way something that goes beyond the action-RPG or Japanese cult title.

Now, following the success of NieR: Automata, it’s presented with additional accessibility options, better looking and smoother gameplay, and additional content that gently builds on what was already there.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... isn't a remake, but instead an update of the original game with small improvements, new content, and rehauled visuals. Showcasing how the original game's narrative still holds up today and gives those who experienced NieR Automata a chance to experience the tale before 9S, 2B, and A2. There are some archaic elements that rely on tedious traveling and item collecting but despite this NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... has the same emotionally charged elements that made NieR Automata such a monumental game.

It’s hard to pen the correct words when talking about a game that resonates so deeply. You never want to spoil or rob another player of the moments. If you’re a fan of Nier Automata, this is an easy recommendation. The upgrades are more than a simple coat of paint.
While still a bit dated in some areas NieR Replicant ver.1.2247448713R9… improves upon nearly every aspect of the original and helps it shine as one of Yoko Taro’s signature works.
Going into Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139, I really wasn't sure what to expect. I never played Drakengard, Nier Automata, Gestalt, or anything else. None of that mattered, because Square Enix's remake hooked me from the beginning and didn't let go. Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is a gorgeous game with a compelling plot and a stunning soundtrack. If you're a fan of the original game, you'll probably want to see what this version has to offer, and if you've never experienced the game in any form, this is an opportunity to play the game as it was first intended.
A generic, sub-par action RPG that is neither generic, sub-par or even an action RPG. It's lucky Square Enix decided to make this new version. The 2010 NieR Replicant was already a rough diamond that only NieR Automata managed to take to the general public, and having this legendary story updated for this generation of players is something we should appreciate, turning the title into something essential and unforgettable, transforming what was a cult game in 2010, into a renewed classic. That seemingly crazy designer who is Yoko Taro throws all sorts of arguments to our faces without plugging, but as players we have to strive to uncover the truth behind the curtain.
