Scarlet Nexus Reviews
Even with some technical issues that the game is suffering from, Scarlet Nexus is still great and entertaining, and it can become one of the best JRPG/Hack 'n' Slash games if it can reach its true potential.

After a first couple of boring hours Scarlet Nexus becomes better and better. It's obvious that this game didn't have an AAA budget but the developers did a great job by using it wisely.

An action JRPG game that is beautiful in its looks and fun with its combat system, even if the script is annoying sometimes it was a really entertaining journey.

Scarlet Nexus shines for a simple but very complete and fun battle system, as well as having an organic concept that convinces. Its slow pace of the narrative and lack of exploration make the experience somewhat tiresome, however its well-developed story will keep you tuned until the end.

Although some users thought scarlet Nexus would be a simple clone of the Astral Chain, we're seeing a product that isn't just a clone, but offers a better and more fun experience.

Scarlet Nexus is a pleasant Action-jRPG for tens of hours. It offers a good storyline, interesting styling, a successful combat system (although having some shortcomings), eye-watering characteristic music and uneasy side quests - which rather act as additional challenges. However, it is worth checking out.

Scarlet Nexus boasts a story that is impossible not to recommend. Bandai Namco has created a truly intriguing world that, even after completing the game, has me yearning for more. The option of playing the second main character, which boasts a different story direction, would be the perfect remedy if not for the other areas of the game falling short. Repetitive mechanics and frustrating combat design hamper what could otherwise be an incredible adventure.
As a brand new IP, Scarlet Nexus succeeds as a worthwhile experience for curious action RPG fans and anime diehards. Its overall package offers a compelling storyline, a visually splendid presentation, strong English voice work, and a soundtrack full of enjoyable tunes.
I think the world of Scarlet Nexus has a lot to offer, and I enjoyed getting a significant taste of it. Its concepts on brain power and psionic combat feel fresh, at least artistically, and I want to see where it possibly goes. I'm still abuzz over the final boss confrontation. I don't think it's quite for everyone, but fans of the anime style of storytelling will find something to connect with here.
Scarlet Nexus is one of the most interesting new JRPGs that we’ve seen in a while from a big publisher. Combining a beautifully elegant, but also visceral combat system with a rich and evocative theme, and hugely entertaining characters, this game is available on the previous generation, I know, but in design and execution, it’s very much the perfect new-generation experience.
Scarlet Nexus blends a unique Brain Punk visual style with tight combat that requires adaptation and synergy. The Others are the game's ace up its sleeve with bizarre but creative creature variety. Each enemy type demands adaptability with the assortment of abilities at Yuito and Kasane's disposal thanks to their squadmates. Outside of combat, character moments shine in Bond Episodes and the writing is complemented well by a talented English voice cast. The variety of personalities does well to carry the weight of the convoluted plot as it progresses. However, the slideshow presentation of the vast majority of cutscenes diminishes the emotional impact of events that would have benefited more from animation. The game provides a solid gameplay experience on PC and I look forward to what this team can come up with next.
Scarlet Nexus is easily one of the best games so far this year and a strong contender for game of the year. With addictive gameplay and compelling narrative, there is plenty to love in this Brain Punk vision of a psionic future.
A unique game that features an intriguing story and a satisfying combat system.

Overall, Scarlet Nexus is worth getting, especially for those who wish to challenge themselves. The story, animation, gameplay, and setting prove that Scarlet Nexus has what it takes to become a new tipping point for Bandai Namco to outdo other JRPG titles. I highly recommend players to play the demo first, then if they are satisfied, get the full version of the game. Scarlet Nexus will definitely open a new way of playing JRPG games and will open up a series of unique challenges that will shatter gamers’ perceptions of how to end a game.
Scarlet Nexus is an intriguing new IP that definitely shows promise for a potential sequel so if you enjoy anime-infused action RPGs then you likely won't regret slaying the many gnarly mutants within its unique futuristic game world.
Scarlet Nexus, despite a few minor flaws, is a great brain punk game that has everything that will make you drool with bliss - breathtaking graphics, a polished combat system with lots of effects, diverse locations full of amazing details, a perfectly fitting soundtrack, a heartfelt dubbing, and most importantly a well-written and narrated story. The style of the anime fits it perfectly, the characters are interesting, the cutscenes are action-packed despite the lack of animation, and the whole concept simply absorbs you. Technically, the game is almost flawlessly polished, and in sixty hours I never once felt the stereotype, but everyone may feel differently.

Scarlet Nexus is a fun, competent action RPG with fun combat mechanics, gorgeous visuals, and a surprisingly well done, complex story.
Bandai Namco have yet to really miss the mark when it comes to their trademark anime games, but Scarlet Nexus isn't exactly a massive step forward. Instead, it's a serviceable - if at times great - sidestep that brings little else to the table beyond gloriously flashy gameplay and smoking style.
Scarlet Nexus’ flashy psionic-packed combat system and intriguing storyline that is both lengthy and far more varied than one would expect make it a great action RPG that oozes with style.
SCARLET NEXUS provided a very beautiful experience and interesting events in the story. I enjoyed every moment of playing it, from the fighting system, characters, and even the game world. The game is free from annoying technical problems. Bandai Namco started to present a game that was one of the most beautiful games I experienced, even If the main missions are of a repetitive nature, but I did not find them boring, if you are a fan of RPG games, anime, hack and slash, this game is not to be missed.
