Lacuna - A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure Reviews
Responsibility is a concept integrated into people's consciousness that gives the opportunity to reflect, guide and assess the consequences of actions. Taking responsibility is a challenge, as it is much easier to point the finger at others than to take the time to analyze our decisions. And Lacuna – A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure gives us the key to recognizing the causes of what is happening to us in a universe sheltered in crime and mystery. It allows us to see the reality of the facts to act accordingly, facing our part in the conflict.

Lacuna is a surprise gem. It's a game where your choices matter. It will require some deep thinking and quite a bit of reading. But that's what makes it an excellent detective game. If you're up for a challenge, you shouldn't pass up Lacuna.
With excellent writing, great art and fun puzzles, Lacuna is a must-play for fans of the noir detective genre, and makes a compelling case for non-fans to take a look, though it is held back by an unfortunate smoking mechanism and some heavy handed metaphors.
It doesn't take a gumshoe to tell that Lacuna is a stellar, Noir-inspired adventure, that is absolutely worth investigating further. Other than a few quality of life tweaks, it's hard to find much wrong with this narrative-driven hunt and click. Be sure not to let this suspect slip through your fingers.
Overall, Lacuna is an interesting adaptation on the traditional point-and-click gameplay design. Though my interest in the characters and story plateaued around the halfway point of the game, they are both pretty well thought out and your mileage/interest in them may fair better than mine. At $20, it’s worth a look for fans of sci-fi noir adventure games.
Lacuna is a slick noir adventure debut handled remarkably well by a tiny indie team.
Lacuna is a beautiful looking futuristic noir detective story with a great soundtrack that really makes you realise how much your decisions matter. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and research in-game so you make informed choices, because if you don't a bad ending is waiting for you!
Lacuna is not very long, but it has really high replay value and it checks the correct boxes of an adventure game. But what makes Lacuna really memorable are the atmosphere and the fact that it focuses on consequences rather than morality.
With its 4.5 hours of duration, this game becomes so satisfying to play that you are left wanting a little more. The way he explores the weight of choice and the consequences becomes quite incredible. Lacuna is a refreshing, absorbing experience that wisely uses its proposals to develop a story at the same time.

Lacuna puts the player in the middle of a dense, enveloping plot that takes part in a futuristic world where we will be carrying out a detective work, solving puzzles, and become completely immersed in an exquisite intellectual challenge. The conversion work to the Nintendo Switch is done flawlessly and the game runs smoothly on both a television screen and on the console's own screen, which is an extra advantage as Lacuna is a perfect company for playing on the go.

Lacuna is one of the best examples of point and click, adventure, puzzle and detective gaming I have played for I don’t know how long. From the mysteries changing to the multiple endings and the sound and visuals, this is truly an absolute gem of a game and one that deserves its place in your collection.
Lacuna is a rare gem that everyone ought to give a try. The plot is immersive, the gameplay is innovative, and the ambiance is spot-on. The game may not tickle everyone’s fancy, but – trust me – this is a game you need to experience whether you enjoy the niche or not.
Lacuna is not your average pixel noir. Its incredibly complex backstory and rich world-building will shock players expecting the standard murder mystery fare. There's an extremely brilliant and complicated story here, and although it's only a 4 - 5 hour experience, it's not a game one can breeze through easily. If you're looking for something that breaks the mold in subtle but genius ways, Lacuna – A Sci-Fi Noir Adventure should be at the top of your list.
If you love the adventure point and click genre this is a must-have the atmosphere and story are engrossing and the replayability just adds to the experience.
"LACUNA" is an adventure game which has fun of choice. The story varies greatly depending on your selection, but it is regrettable that it is difficult to play multiple times because the save function is not provided when you choose your answers.

How much of the bigger picture you’re capable of piecing together matters, with the fate of your job and the lives of numerous different characters hanging in the balance. Lacuna is a well-written, wonderfully reactive game where many of your decisions make a very real difference.
