Gunfire Reborn Reviews
A nice first-person roguelike that works very well both in single-player mode and during online multiplayer sessions.

Gunfire Reborn has great gunplay, huge variety in builds, and a formula as simple as it is immediate: you get in, you shoot, you hope to get to the end. It might not sound like much, but it's more than enough to make Duoyi's game incredibly compelling and almost addictive.

Gunfire Reborn comes to our consoles to bring us a first-person shooter with procedural dungeons. Every time you die, you'll be faced with new maps and different builds, making each game different from the last. In addition, it also has a cooperative mode that increases the fun to incredible levels.

Fun in single and fabulous in company, Gunfire Reborn is an adrenaline roguelite shooter, frenetic (if you are not subscribed to Game Pass, it must be said that the cost of purchasing the product is still quite low) and capable of giving hours and hours of healthy and carefree shooting.

A roguelite FPS, Gunfire Reborn takes good and bad from both genres, making for a somewhat frustrating and inconsistent, though intermittently fun experience.
Gunfire Reborn is a strong first person shooting rouge-like title, with well tuned challenging engagements. There is a lot of potential for this title to expand and the developers are actively looking for more feedback to improve the title. I was very skeptical of the title, but after watching others play it, I felt the need to try it for myself. It was a quick grab, which instantly sucked me into 3 hours of straight play to see how far I could get. It took about 3 days to finally beat the normal mode, which required that I really start to understand the games mechanics. Thank you Duoyi Interactive Entertainment Limited for the key to review Gunfire Reborn.
An excellent FPS roguelite RPG experience on PlayStation
Gunfire Reborn is a well-formed and illustrated multiplayer game with the ability to play it solo. However, you have to really like repetitive gameplay or roguelites; otherwise, you'll do your head in after the eleventh attempt on the first stage.
Gunfire Reborn is one of those games I’d now recommend immediately if you’re looking for a co-op title to play with your friends. Its deep levelling and skill tree system with several options of difficulty keeps me returning for more. Replayability and longevity is a key point here and I’m talking about a potential of hundreds of hours. If you can grin and bear the occasional matchmaking issues and the odd disconnect then it’s an absolute blast almost all of the time.
Gunfire Reborn does not have a single innovative element in its retention loop, and I say this seriously. The campaign's pace, level structure, division into closed zones filled with enemies, the constant search for more powerful weapons, the setback to the beginning when we lose, and even the inclusion of a skill tree – this is the roguelike experience as stated in the instruction manual.

Gunfire Reborn is a fun game that suffers from some pretty substantial problems. Online is simply a mess; regardless of where the fault lies, it results in a negative experience for all. Add in a lack of updates and questionable history on Xbox, and it’s a hard sell for Gunfire Reborn. Sure, it has good gunplay, charming weapons, and a lot of build potential; unfortunately, these issues exist. Perhaps things will improve now that more resources can be poured into the console side of things, but for now, I would stick to PC or Xbox via Game Pass.
I had fun playing Gunfire Reborn but after a few runs I started to feel that the game is much more fun with friends, since each of us tackling higher difficulties together as a different character gave the game more variety and challenge.
Gunfire Reborn is a game ready to take the world by storm. As long as Duoyi Games keep it updated and relevant, listening closely to the community, this is one you could be playing for years to come and clocking up ungodly hours to. Slight balance tweaks and UI issues aside, get some mates and get involved.
Gunfire Reborn is a loot and shooter FPS with roguelite elements that is inspired, enjoyable, convincing and exciting. In addition to offering hours and hours of fun, it features an essential yet excellently implemented game design that entertains thanks to a dynamic, fluid gunplay that never loses its punch even after fifteen hours of play. Despite a few technical stumbling blocks, it is a video game that presents itself on consoles in top form.

Gunfire Reborn presents a mix of FPS and roguelite mechanics capable of dragging us into a vortex of "one more game" from which it is difficult to get out. With a stronger narrative compartment it could have aimed for higher heights, but even so it stands as a title that FPS lovers should not miss.

It isn’t the prettiest nor does it feature the best translation, but Gunfire Reborn is stupidly fun to play. The controls feel fantastic, the character and build variety is top-tier, and as someone who adores roguelikes/lites, it had everything I was looking for.
