Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles Reviews
Luminawesome Games Ltd have clearly spent a great deal of time and effort to create something truly beautiful and unique.
Explore the depths as you attempt to return the luminous world back to blue.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a challenging and beautiful 3D puzzle platformer but one whose design could frustrate some players out there. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the game and for the most part didn’t struggle too much with solving the puzzles. For others though, I can see how they could get stuck with not really knowing where to go or what to do and that is worth considering before making your purchase.
I absolutely loved playing Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. It may not be for everyone but those who enjoy it will enjoy it a lot.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a charming, satisfying and visually pleasing puzzle platformer, and a unique experience shouldn’t be overlooked.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a breath of fresh air in the modern gaming world as it provides a unique sense of joy. I came out of my playing sessions feeling relaxed but also fulfilled, not wanting for additional challenge and completely stress-free.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games, deep sea creatures, and 3D platforming, I highly recommend Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. Just be sure to take breaks while playing so you don’t go blind from all the neon lights— or go crazy from all the blips and bloops that form this game’s aquatic language.
'Lumote' is a well made, Multi-dimensional puzzle game with a great combination of lighting and classical platformer controls. While the Lumotes with subtle cuteness were surely amazing, the game somewhat failed to leave a strong impression due to lack of intense elements.

What I’ve come to realize it that Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is something special… in shorts bursts. It’s the perfect game to pick up and play a few levels of before setting it down to go about your business. Brief play sessions will keep you engaged, whereas long blocks will start to wear on you.
Even with speedrunners on duty, who are sure to try to solve every puzzle at Formula 1 speed, Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles evokes a slower, more leisurely vibe. This helps to deal with the complexity of some puzzles, but it doesn't solve the problem of repeated challenges, which makes it an OK game, but nothing extraordinary.

Lumote is a fun and great looking game, and the sense of depth and scale of the world is a treat to immerse yourself in for a while.
If you thrive on completing puzzles, you’ll likely get a kick out of working your way through each of Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles’ levels. But be prepared for plenty of repetition in both puzzle design and the environment around you. For most players, it’s likely boredom is going to set in long before you reach the end.
While Lumote's puzzles can be head-scratchingly good, the two-tone color palette, repeated environments, and, at times, frustrating user interface hampers any satisfaction.
If you’re into difficult puzzle solving, this may be the game for you. Just beware that the level design is still kind of bland which makes the main puzzle elements too simple than it should look, thus making it difficult to provide the actual sense of achievement. The supposed story was never clearly reminded of, which keeps you thinking even without playing the game. The entire 4 hours of gameplay wasn’t the best representation of the game’s pricing and the only thing you could remember was being under the deep seas with underwater structures.

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is adorable with clever logical puzzles that may appeal to the masses who love a good puzzler. Despite being filled with Bioluminescent beauty though, the lack of direction and repetitive environment holds it back from being anything more than ordinary.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a good relaxing puzzler that will appeal to those looking for a new head scratcher to enjoy on the sofa with a warm drink, in bed or in the bath. Just be careful you don’t drop your Switch in there. The slow pace won’t appeal to everyone and hunting for collectables proved more frustrating than fun for me. I enjoyed Lumote the most when I was taking my time solving the puzzles and taking in the calm vibes this game gave off with its cute noises and botanical appearance. If that sounds good to you then go pick it up.
