Playing the NeocoreGames title, we had mixed feelings. If from a tactical and managerial point of view the product can offer a demanding challenge even for the most demanding players, some choices in the game mechanics appear not entirely in focus.

All in all, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a really solid, if unsurprising game. I had a lot of fun with it, but I don’t think I’m ever going to come back to it.
The full release of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale impresses in almost every area, despite being in Early Access for quite some time. The game expands dramatically, offering an incredible story, fun tactical gameplay and great visuals. Not to mention there is a lot to do once completing the game, whether that’s taking on bosses or playing PVP. Even though it can feel slightly unfinished, the game is still incredible and should continue to improve with more time and dedication from the developers.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale boasts a deep and engaging combat system that is as rewarding as it is ruthless. A worthwhile adventure into Arthurian Legend, it’s a fantastic entry into the tactical RPG space that unfortunately begins to suffer with technical issues as the story unfolds. As many of the cutscenes tell you, it’s a work in progress.

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a clear departure from the King Arthur titles that Neocore Games is known for. It’s not just the new setting, but also the combat mechanics and the management aspect of your base of operations that makes the game very engaging.
Despite a few shortcomings, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is one of the best strategy RPGs I've played. While the SRPG aspects are pretty great, this alternate take on the Arthurian Tale can keep you engaged with its characters and stories.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is solid point-and-click turn-based action, but players should note that it takes some time to level up due to the lack of a mission replay feature, and a considerable amount of gold being required to enable healing for multiple party members. Diehard tactical fans might be interested in what King Arthur: Knight's Tale has to offer, but newcomers to the genre might wish to cut their teeth elsewhere.
Aside a few complaints here and there, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a grim, compelling take on the legend of Camelot.
Neocore's rendition of the Arthurian tale is dark and gritty, and isn't for the feint of heart. It's tough, it's challenging, it doesn't hold your hand, but damnit if victory doesn't feel oh so sweet! Without a doubt, King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a day one buy for anyone who enjoys strategic, tactical combat that goes far beyond the decisions you make on the battlefield.
Bloated, buggy and with its best ideas in the back half, Neocore's grimdark tactical King Arthur spin-off is halfway decent might and magic.
King Arthur: Knight's Tale is not without its charms, then, but it's not the once and future king you might have been waiting for. Maybe watch Fast and Furious instead.

The Arthurian Legend gets a new twist in a compelling turn based RPG.
With its engaging combat and dark world that begs to be explored, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a treat for those who love RPGs they can sink their teeth into. It might not be the deepest in terms of mechanics or character development, but that just adds to its allure, keeping it relatively frictionless. It’s the fact that this is your journey that will really win you over though. Will you rule over Camelot as a tyrant, or try to bring peace to the land? It’s up to you. And there are many other important decisions to be made along the way.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is another great game by NeocoreGames. Even if you aren’t a fan of turn-based strategy games I would really encourage you to check it out.
King Arthur: Knight's Tale offers a ton of fun in spite of the flaws that may be trying to drag it down. Knowing NeocoreGames' work from the past, these devs were capable of turning a mediocre release of a Warhammer 40,000 game into one of the best action RPGs available on the market.
King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a great turn-based strategy game, but vastly more so for those well-versed in Arthurian legend. That said, even if you don't know much about the legend - or want to learn about it - this is a great game.
A grimdark take on King Arthur's saga that is a pleasant surprise for tactical RPG lovers.

King Arthur is a stylish tactical RPG with a different view of a famous legend. It has some unique elements, but also shortcomings. A charm that gradually weakens and fades.
