Given how Digital Eclipse and other studios have been putting out retro collections built with care and reverence to history, it is a dated relic itself rather than a great way to play Pac-Man Battle Royale at home.
Pac-Man Museum + is a Game Pass title that comprises 14 classic Pac-Man games. The developers have tried to bring this much-loved franchise back to life. However, they have only succeeded in creating a padded-out and tired experience.
Compared to the "basic" PAC-MAN Museum, there is in Short, in Plus little more than a few playable new entries and a vaguely more sumptuous suit. Nothing that justifies a possible repurchase, and it is worth wondering if even users less accustomed to the worlds of Pac-Man, in the absence of that "museum" value that the title promises, can find satisfaction in front of a handful of episodes that, probably, will not be able to entertain for more than a few hit-and-run sessions.

PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ is yet another compilation of PAC-MAN titles, most of which fans have probably played before or purchased in previous compilations. It’s not a bad mix of games, and it was a fun way to show my kids these classic PAC-MAN games. However, I still feel like this was ultimately a cash-in for PAC-MAN’s 42nd anniversary. I would hope we’ll see a better, more complete collection on his 45th or 50th anniversary. I’d love to see some PAC-MAN World Rally, the PAC-MAN World games, and PAC-MAN Vs. all included in a future compilation. For now, if you’re new to PAC-MAN, this is a great entry point. If you’re a die-hard fan, there might be a couple of PAC-MAN titles on here that you’ve been jonesing to play. For the casual fan, you’re probably better off sticking with a previous compilation you likely already own.
In a collection celebrating a character via a customizable arcade, it's unfortunate there isn't as much care put into the customization of the player experience. Will I still be playing it often? Absolutely. A handful of these titles both promote Pac-Man's historic legacy, while standing on their own. Others, however, get lost in a game that is ironically all about mazes.
Overall, this is a handful of games and a legal settlement away from being comprehensive, but it undoubtedly gives you a flavour for Pac-Man’s storied career – and between the ups-and-downs, there’s plenty to chew on.
Lots of games, but not all stars among Pac-Man's birthday guests. The essential emulation gives a no-frills experience to the old glories in a context tailor-made for chasing the online leaderboards, but the absolute lack of extras is a great disappointment.

Pac Man Museum + is certainly packed full of arcade entertainment, but not all of its games were created equal.
For Pac-Man fans who can't do without it and for the curious who have always wanted a collection to try some games related to the Namco mascot. There is so much to play but you could have done a little more.

The final result of Pac-Man Museum + is quite positive, especially if the player enjoys old games. With two occasional exceptions, the collection is full of good games, including some titles with addictive gameplay mechanics. The multiplayer options are great, the rankings are interesting and we have an interesting customization system. More technical options and extra content were lacking to make this an unmissable experience.

While there are some notable omissions and questionable additions in this collection, PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ is just the thing for those looking for a trip down memory lane.
Pac-Man, which has experienced more than 40 years of vicissitudes, is still popular in the game circle, as a perfect display of the charm of this series. However, this game is just a collection of fourteen previous game works of this series, without any new element. But for nostalgic persons and game players interested in Pac-Man, Pac-Man Museum+ not only represents a collection of the whole series, but also offers the best opportunity to rediscover the charm of the Pac-Man series.

The new collection is definitely worthwhile for those looking to collect the old gems of video games, however, for the rest of us it seems there are a few problems that might make us think twice before buying like control delay issues and sadly not fully supporting the swift movement of controllers' analog sticks

The original Pac-Man has been offered in countless ways on countless platforms over the years; at this point, some fans couldn't be blamed for feeling sick of it. Fortunately, Pac-Man Museum+ manages to offer a library with a surprising amount of variety. I thought I knew a lot about Pac-Man going into this game, but I walked away with a much deeper knowledge of the franchise, and all that it's had to offer over the years. I also came away with some new favorites that I might never have discovered otherwise. I probably never would have discovered Pac 'n Roll or Pac-Man 256, or remembered just how much I enjoy Pac-Attack. The lack of Ms. Pac-Man is disappointing, and the arcade customization could have been a little bit deeper, but this is a strong collection of games that should delight both long-time Pac-fans, and those new to the series.

Like all retro collections, PAC-MAN Museum + relies on nostalgia to sell itself, but its qualities go further: the games offered are varied and interesting, even though they all revolve around a single franchise. The quest mechanics give the title a huge replayability factor and more competitive players will be able to face the world comparing their scores, although the collection lacks online multiplayer. It is a collection suitable for retro game enthusiasts and anyone looking for a collection for parties and family gatherings.

Pac-Man Museum+ is the ultimate tribute to the character's 30 years, collecting much of the old and not-so-old games in one place. With added features like a global bookmark and customization of your own arcade, this title is, without a doubt, one of the best Pac-Man installments of all time.

It doesn’t contain every Pac-Man game ever made, but Pac-Man Museum+ is the most complete collection yet, for better or for worse. We love its arcade presentation – jarring sound effects and all – and even outside of the games, there’s fun to be had trying to collect everything and decorating your arcade as you see fit. There are some duff games here of course, but you’ll likely find a gem that you never even knew existed – for us it was block puzzle Pac-Attack. Either way, this is a very nice little trip through Pac-Man’s history, and one we’ll keep jumping back into time and again.
