The Last of Us Part I Reviews
Realistically, patches that are coming for the game may continue to make The Last of Us on PC even better. If the patches can improve the playability then the port will become akin to its console predecessors and contemporaries. However, for now, the crashes, visual bugs, texture glitches, and stuttering is not something that can be ignored. Until then, if you’re a first-time The Last of Us player and you’re looking for a seamless and non-buggy experience on PC, it may be better to wait for patches to truly get the best out of this incredible story and game.
The Last of Us Part I is a masterpiece of gameplay with a story worthy of Hollywood. Definitely the best transposition of Joel and Ellie's adventures, with some technical inconveniences on day one that are being quickly resolved.

As The Last of Us finds its way to the Playstation 5, the graphics have been given a loving complete renovation. Otherwise, much is the same as before, although a number of minor improvements do a lot for the experience. There are still elements that gossip that the game's roots stem from old technology, but there's nothing stopping The Last of Us: Part 1 from touching, intimidating, and engaging as much now as it was then.

The Last Of Us Part I is a phenomenal remake that has elevated every department from the original and even the remaster.
As much as people might argue that The Last of Us Part I was unnecessary (hell, I might not even argue against them), the fact remains that Naughty Dog has knocked it out of the park. The 2022 remake looks, sounds, and plays miles above both the 2013 and 2014 versions, and regardless of opinion on Part 2’s story, there’s no denying that this team of developers now has one of the most must-play one-two punches of all time under their belt.
The remake of The Last of US Part I on PlayStation 5 brings the beloved Naughty Dog classic to the same level of technical quality as its sequel and other flagship titles of this new generation Sony.

Worthy of being hailed as a potential Game of the Generation when it was first released, The Last of Us Part I is fully remade for a new generation of PlayStation consoles. With some of Naughty Dog's best graphical tech to date, this is one you'll have to see to believe.
The Last of Us Part 1 is a hard game to review. On one hand it is still an amazing achievement all these years later. The story is fantastic, and the characters are some of the best. I love the original game and this remake doesn’t change that. Still for $70 it is a lot to ask for a game that hasn’t exactly been out of the conversation since it released. The removal of multiplayer is also questionable, but I guess it makes sense as players could still play that in the PS4 remaster. There is a lot to appreciate here, and truly this is one of the best-looking games ever created.
At a more competitive price point, it'd be essential – as it is, it's a pricey upgrade on a bona fide classic.

For those with accessibility needs, the lucky few who have yet to experience The Last of Us at all or even just the number of players who want to immerse themselves in the ultimate form of Naughty Dog's opus, The Last of Us Part I makes a more than compelling case for its existence and stands shoulder to shoulder with the best games on PS5.
The Last Of Us is as brutal, challenging, and enjoyable as it always has been. With hugely improved visuals, small but meaningful gameplay changes, and a great range of accessibility options, this Part 1 Remake is without a doubt the definitive version for both newcomers and longtime fans.
10 years on, and The Last of Us still feels as timeless as ever. It is, without a doubt, the crown jewel of Naughty Dog’s catalog, but for now, I’d hold off for a bit if you’re thinking about picking it up on PC. Fantastic game, but maybe wait for a patch or two to smooth things over first.
Sony has impressed with their recent PC ports, but something has gone awry with 'The Last of Us Part 1'. This is of the most highly regarded franchises in gaming, but this port is a buggy mess that crashes constantly and requires hours of set-up before playing. Avoid until major patches arrive, and even then, you should remain skeptical.
In its current state it is a deluge of bugs and optimization problems. Despite this, the game is sublime.

No matter where you stand in the debate, The Last of Us Part 1 is a real punch in the gut. With an outstanding technical performance, a remarkable overhaul of an outdated gameplay, a sublimated atmosphere, even more poignant cinematics and more realistic environments, the remake is more striking and visceral than ever. Naughty Dog offers a familiar and yet fresh look at this cult game. A full-fledged next-gen game, unchanged in its content but transcended by its form, which deserves to be rediscovered sooner or later.
