Bayonetta 3 is one of those games where you can't help but feel good while playing. Taking the work of the previous game and improving on it in practically every aspect, this title offers us a much more diverse, fun gameplay and a more consistent and appealing story with excellent characters and touching twists. Not even the fact that it is one step away from disaster from a technical point of view prevents Bayonetta 3 from being one of the easiest games to recommend to everyone this year.

Bayonetta 3 is a great game that plays away nicely after a difficult start, but does not always convince completely. The first hour players probably won't mind anything thrown at them, but for newcomers it's quite overwhelming. That applies not only to the story, but also to the controls and the like. The makers seem to have assumed that you already know how everything works. The game feels graphically dated, especially in the cut scene. However, you get used to it quickly and it doesn't really get in the way of the game.

Bayonetta 3 is a refinement of Platinum Games iconic gameplay and formula. A game that pays homage to not only the team's mechanical expertise, but also Hideki Kamiya's excellent iconic directing style. A project that focuses on all of the team's success, and a testament to the fact that Platinum Games is still worthy of being among the best in action games

Bayonetta 3 is an awful lot more, but it's also an awful lot more of the same. It's a game that revels in its spirited too-muchness.

Bayonetta 3 is a strange mix of some of the series’ best moments together with some of its worst. At its high points, Bayonetta 3 easily stands with or even surpasses its predecessors, but its glory is marred by questionable decisions and missed opportunities. How much importance you place on the story will likely determine how you feel about this entry. If the story is an afterthought for you, you’ll enjoy the high-quality combat and intense action, but if the story matters, prepare yourself for tonal differences and storytelling that raises more questions than answers.

While Bayonetta 3 is the weakest of the three, it is still a very good game that will give fans a lot of bang for their buck. There is enough changes and experimentation to justify this sequel and the rating system is the most forgiving than ever for neophytes, while also providing enough high level challenge for veterans.

The new title of the sensual witch is a torrent of action, debauchery, delusions and excesses, in which everything is possible, where everything is big, and bigger, and bigger and bigger, and nothing, absolutely nothing, leaves anyone indifferent. the new.

Bayonetta 3 from wildcard creator Hideki Kamiya and developer Platinum Games is a complete mess. After more than half a decade of development, the third entry in the Bayonetta series is not just a major downgrade from its well-received successors–it is also a far cry from everything that made the prior games beloved and absurd extravaganzas. It may not be an unplayable disaster, but between its interrupting cutscenes, stale gimmicks, embarrassing level design, kaiju-styled set-pieces that fail to be fun, and dreadful narrative, the game is bouncing all over the place in terms of quality and consistency.

As the series goes big this time Bayonetta 3 is more personal than ever. It’s creativity and larger than life characters boast a huge amount of fun while it’s scope is mindblowing. I know it’s a dying breed of a game but even in it’s last breath it goes with bang. All action fans and serie’s veterans should play this magnificent gem of a game.

Bayonetta 3 is grand, addictive, and an absolute must-see. The fact that even its serious performance issues on the Switch are not enough to stop a genuine recommendation is a testament to the quality of the third game in one of the most interesting franchises in the gaming industry. Don't let yourself be fooled: for all intents and purposes, here's PlatinumGames' magnum opus and another great hit from Nintendo.

Despite featuring what's arguably the best combat system in the series, Bayonetta 3 is nothing short of disappointing. Bayonetta's core gameplay is outstanding, weaving fluid controls together with incredible weapon variety and tons of fun mechanics to play around with. The combo potential is high and battles just feel great to play… as Bayonetta. An unforgivable amount of playtime is dedicated to newcomer Viola, stealth segments that make poor use of Jeanne, and relentless gimmick stages that wear out their welcome immediately. Tossing in mediocre level design, lacklustre performance, and a flavourless story that panders towards the current multiverse craze, and it's clear PlatinumGames have lost their touch when it comes to the Umbran Witch. Bayonetta 3 is simply pitiful.

A game that alternates between wowing you and boring you. The series' strong gameplay and crazy ideas carry the experience somewhat, but it remains a mixed bag.

After eight long years of waiting, Bayonetta is back with all her flash and pomp intact. And while I expect this entry to hold my interest for quite a while, I hope we don’t have to wait another eight years before we see one of the biggest names in gaming return.

If we do not reach the perfect score is because of the small flaws that the title has, which can affect the final set, but that, if they were not, would give us as a result one of the most enjoyable games of the Nintendo hybrid.

Ultimately, we’re left a little conflicted with Bayonetta 3. This is the worst looking and performing Bayonetta yet, with a grander scale that both detracts and adds to the gameplay. We love the fact that we can finally take control of fearsome demons, for example, but we don’t like the fact that the camera struggles when fighting other gargantuan enemies. Add in some other frustrations, and you have a game that sometimes feel like the best the Bayonetta series has to offer, but other times the worst.

With epic set pieces, fast frenetic action and tons and tons of options, Bayonetta 3 expertly builds on top of the very solid foundation laid down by the first two games in the series. I, for one, am willing to wait eight years if that how long it takes for another game as bombastically insane and awesome as this one.
