Like the story that sets in the 60s, it seems that the developers' mindset is also stuck back then, as none of the gameplay mechanisms are upgraded to meet today's standards in this supposedly remade title.

Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, delivers an entertaining experience filled with ample technical issues. Screen Tear during Combat is frequent, Frame rate drop occurs sporadically and in general, it's a poorly optimized game. That being said, combat is fun, Crypto is entertaining and you will have a good time Creating all sorts of Commotion!

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed should please any fan of the original or those who enjoyed the remake of the first game a couple years ago. Everything about it is bigger and better than that game but it still has some outdated design and humor that may not hit with everyone. I was a fan of the original so I enjoyed my time in Crypto 138’s boots and I hope to see more from this series going forward whether it be a new game or a remake of the third entry.

Destroy All Humans! 2 does a great job of faithfully recreating the world that captivated so many fans back in 2006! The gameplay mechanics have been refined to make some aspects, particularly the psychokinesis, feel a lot more natural and slick to execute. The massive overhaul to the visuals makes the game look fantastic on modern hardware, whilst still keeping the semi-cartoony art style that was present in the original.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a fun romp now as it was back in the day. The charm of the game is easily felt, and going through its varied arsenal to explore its many different areas is certainly a highlight. THQ Nordic has preserved the content of the game while giving Crypto a facelift to modernize the series. The humor may not work for everybody, but given the chance, it is a fun game that you can clear over the weekend by yourself or with a friend. Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a breath of fresh air, and while it doesn't attempt to do anything needlessly clever, it is an honest game doing what it does best: to entertain.

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed prioritizes fun first, and everything else after. It repeats a lot of the same notes and themes of the first game, which in turn make it a little less humorous this time around, but it’s hard to deny the charm Crypto exudes. With this being the 16th anniversary of Destroy All Humans! 2, there’s no better time to play this, and I’m likely to go and complete all the side activities for. Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is offers a sandbox full of toys that compliments its destructive nature, a great way to unwind this back to school season.

As a remake of a 2006 title is one of the best looking to date. It doesn’t add or change much to the overall package but if you’re looking for some good fun, especially with a friend, then Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is worth picking up if the price is right.

The remake of Destroy All Humans 2 takes what worked in the previous remake and polishes things up to remove a good chunk, but not all, of the jank that made its predecessor feel a tad bit disappointing at times. It’s still short, and it’s nowhere near as feature-filled as other open world games in the market, but there’s nothing else that looks and feels like this delightfully dumb title out there.

Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed is better than the first remake on paper, but Reprobed’s advancements are severely diminished because of its repetitive nature.

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed shows this cult classic did not age well. Beyond dialogue, updates to gameplay and graphics feel hollow when game-breaking bugs are still prevalent…That isn’t to say you won’t find fun here. But that fun may just be restricted to a 10-12 hour jaunt through memory lane.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed brings the original title into the modern age, and while the gameplay is massively improved, some bad ideas, dated jokes, and an abundance of glitches mar the overall experience.

Destroy all Humans! 2 - Reprobed is an amusing smutty title. You must control Crypto and seek revenge against the KGB. En route, you encounter some weird and eclectic people. Befriend some of them, but leave behind the people that hold you back.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed, this is a nice break from the real world. It maintains its black humor and has a very revitalized audiovisual aspect. It may not be the work of art that it was on Xbox and PlayStation 2, but it is still a hilarious title and highly recommended.

While I wouldn’t exactly call Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed awful per se, it goes to show that being too faithful when remaking a game can be quite harmful to the end product. The way over the top humor and juvenile tone, along with the potentially boring and definitely dated mechanics make Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed feel like a relic of the past and hard to recommend. For those who enjoyed its original run years ago when they were most likely impressionable teens, it might end up being more of an embarrassing memory than a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

If you’re expecting Destroy All Humans 2! – Reprobed to be more of a remaster of the original game than a remake, you’ll likely be happy with the results. The game looks great and feels extremely faithful to the time it was released. Those with nostalgia for the original will get what they need out of it. After finally spending some time with it, though, I can say confidently that this was only ever an okay game, featuring the same lack of content and empty areas that open-world games of that era were known for. Today’s open-world games are better at creating an overall experience worth your time.

Destroy All Humans! 2 is a fun and chaos-filled production. But most importantly, it has been adapted to be played fluently today.

Despite a handful of nitpicks, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed has been a fun trip down memory lane. This updated remake of the classic alien shooter doesn't bring a whole lot new to the table, and by modern open-world standards, it definitely feels dated in some areas. Still, if you're someone who grew up playing the original Destroy All Humans! 2 like I did, I'm hard-pressed to think that you won't have a good time coming back to this extraterrestrial adventure in 2022.

Crypto’s second return in Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed is another successful remake from Black Forest Games. A few technical issues and poorly aged mission designs aside, this irreverent, smartass alien still has plenty to offer the modern world with hilarious quips and hugely entertaining gameplay. Fire up your death rays, crack a joke at 1960s society, bust down that fourth wall – Cryptosperidium is back and he’s standing tall. Arkvoodle be praised!

Look. Despite the pretty coat of paint, Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed is still a game from 2006 at its heart, and it carries over all the design sensibilities and quirks that come with it. Those looking for an open-world title up to modern standard will be disappointed. But for the nostalgic among us, and those that enjoy more retro design, Reprobed is a fun if flawed romp. I do like the intrigue the writers attempted to weave into what was originally a simple premise, and jet skating around a few different open worlds blasting humans with crazy alien weaponry is still visceral fun.

This game is a fun trip down memory lane that will be loved by the players who played the game when the original version was released, as well as those who are waiting for the second remake sequel. With its entertaining story and hours of enjoyment, especially at its very cheap initial price of PHP 999, it's a steal and highly recommended to everyone!
