The Crew Motorfest's biggest problem is that unlike the previous two titles in the series, it tries too hard to emulate an already flawless result.

While it does not bog down into the extreme levels of crafting and micromanagement that some racing Sims do; the game knows who its core audience is and presents a solid new entry in the series which should keep fans happy as will the likely abundance of upgrades coming in the future.

The Crew Motorfest is a lovely open world arcade racer that fans of said formula should definitely try. And judging by Ubisoft’s and The Crew’s recent history, it’s safe to say that there will be plenty of excellent content additions for months/years to come.

The Crew Motorfest is Ubisoft’s answer to Forza Motorsports that should go down well with PlayStation 5-exclusive players.

The Crew Motorfest manages to be an incredibly entertaining racing sandbox experience, despite the expected presence of Ubisoft’s monetization and trademark sterility. While some questionable design choices drag the title’s overall quality down a notch, my time in digital Hawaii was largely a memorable and enjoyable one.

As someone who is a fan of Forza Horizon and didn’t care a great deal for The Crew 2, this latest entry in The Crew certainly works for me. I’ve had a lot of fun driving around the island of Oahu, and the Hawaii setting is a great backdrop for all the racing this game contains. While maybe not the most original racer on the market, this approach for The Crew Motorfest makes for a better experience overall, and helps fill the void for AAA arcade racers this year.

The Crew Motorfest is genuinely what the name suggests – a Festival celebrating motor vehicles. With insane graphics and detailed vehicles, every ride or race becomes a solid experience that stays with you. Having many custom-designed mainstream content and creators’ collaboration took us by surprise. But even after the main story, you get a brand new theme each week and the constantly rotating multiplayer races. The Upgrade parts may force you to grind more to win more.

The Crew Motorfest is a well-crafted open world racing game, set in a beautiful location and packed with content, with a varied and impeccably paced campaign or a series of mini-campaigns. It's Ubisoft's attempt to make its own Forza Horizon, as it follows the formula almost to the letter, and largely succeeds. Sure, there are flaws, and in the attempt to include everything that can be driven, from boats, planes, Formula 1 cars, motorbikes to -of-course- cars, depth has been sacrificed. Either way, anyone who invests their time will certainly not regret it, as this is ultimately a highly entertaining game!

The Crew Motorfest isn't just trying to be a copycat of the rival Forza Horizon series. Thanks to the improved driving model and sound compared to the second game, this is an excellent arcade race that you will be happy to return to. The replacement of the traditional campaign with the playlist mode is also to blame. Thanks to them, you will discover the whole island of O'ahu and also try out most of the fleet.

The Crew Motorfest is packed full of thrills, with the varied event types and enthralling island of O’ahu ensuring the racing action is always a lot of fun. Whether speeding through the assortment of events on offer, grabbing a photo-op to show off your ride, or spicing things up by taking to the sea or skies, there’s ALWAYS a good time to be had in the game. The arcade-like driving feels slick too, whilst the fact you can almost always rely on a nitrous boost means you’ll never be stuck behind your rivals for too long. It does have some issues here and there, with the overwhelming HUD and confusion with ghost vehicles being the most obvious, but they don’t stop The Crew Motorfest from being a great racing experience that takes the series in a very exciting yet effectively streamlined direction.

The Crew Motorfest would be exactly what the series needs to shake off the concept that, nowadays, no longer has a grip on gamers. The very strong inspirations from the Forza Horizon series don't bother and, indeed, create an alternative that would also be viable, and definitely fun, were it not for a dastardly, microtransaction-driven progression.

The Crew Motorsport is the best entry in the series to date, even if it borrows most of its inspiration from Forza Horizon.

The Crew Motorfest will do a lot get your motor running. It's felt as each game in this series has been closing in on Forza Horizon , and if you want a new flavor to try, this is it. There's a breadth of content to explore and race in, and there's sure to be many favorites. While Hawaii is not an all-new location to racing games, and it may feel like you've been here before, but it's like your favorite vacation destination that you want to revisit. The Crew Motorfest celebrates motoring's past, present, future with much respect and tons of fun.

Overall, though not without its fair share of flaws, The Crew Motorfest provides a highly entertaining experience, even for someone who doesn’t play many racing games. But if you are a racing game fan looking for something new, this game might just be for you, provided that you look out for potential performance issues and microtransactions. The Crew Motorfest will be receiving a final verdict of 7.5 out of 10.

What could be an honest alternative to Forza Horizon 5, The Crew: Motorfest, despite being competent, still remains a shameless and unashamed imitation, without worthy improvements that justify the trip to Hawaii.

It’s hard to ignore how creatively bankrupt The Crew Motorfest is, but it is not a bad game at all. When you’re trying to be a carbon copy of a masterpiece of a racing game, and you do your homework to a satisfactory degree, you need to be utterly incompetent not to be, at the very least, a pretty good time, even if not a jaw-dropping one.

In its best moments, The Crew Motorfest offers an incredibly great-looking and fun racing paradise, which gets a lot of variety from the playlists. Unfortunately, boats and planes hardly take place, NPCs are annoying and microtransactions are strangely omnipresent. However, those who can stand it and even like online multiplayer will have found their virtual vacation spot with Hawaii.

Despite its many features, the game has some limitations such as not being able to crash with other real players outside of events or change the time of day and the sheer volume of repetitive events. However, overall, The Crew Motorfest is a lot of fun to play and they have made this the ultimate The Crew experience.
