Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an unusual success story that leaves us with an important message: in this day and age, a large amount of players can —and will enjoy— a complex game that doesn't hold you back. We loved every second: getting lost in Bohemia sprawling forests, riding horseback on green prairies, bleedin in the thick of combat and getting stuck between some odd bushes. Kingdom Come: Deliverance it's a game we can recommend, with caution due its numerous rough edges.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers a fun and content-rich RPG to be explored. With a challenging combat and an impeccable historical setting, the game relies heavily on its protagonist, exposing the soul of a game that still lacks much attention and technical adjustments.

Right now, It's not easy to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance because of some technical (on consoles) and gameplay issues, but it also isn't easy to say no to it's unique and ambitious RPG approach. Once you're trapped in this faithful representation of the kingdom of Bohemia, Warhorse's game becomes the ultimate Middle Age simulator.

With Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse Studios has managed to create an amazing RPG experience with a deep gameplay, an historical accuracy and a really great adventure for you to live, despite some critical flaws that make the game sometimes quite difficult to play.

The sense of scale, that awe of something you were not expecting to be so grand.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an RPG that does the medieval era right with a refreshingly small-scale story and strong realistic combat.

It's almost impossible not to compare Kingdom Come: Deliverance with the Witcher series: there's absolutely no fantasy in the Warhorse production, but it boasts a strong character, an enormous quantity of content, choices that matter, and an adult and mature storyline. You can't expect the same visual quality or a comparable level of polish (pun intended), but the battles are like nothing you've ever seen, and the depth of the simulation really drags the player into a beautiful medieval novel.

Overall, I found Kingdom Come: Deliverance to be an innovative, breathe of fresh air. It has a different pace to Skyrim but if you don't mind a challenge and can master the skills, it offers a complex and well crafted world with a great story that's not just interesting to history buffs but appeals to all RPG fans.

Despite its technical issues and many bugs, Kingdom Come Deliverance is an excellent and really unique RPG. Its system reaches depths that has never been seen before, and assumes its diehard historical aspect at the risk of cutting itself off from a big part of the public. Here is a true ode to the European medieval period, and eventually the typical game that you will love or hate with passion.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an incredibly deep and intricate game that looks beautiful, but it has a fair amount of stumbling points in its quest for realism. The sheer scope and ambition comes with a number of silly bugs that are far from realistic, and some quests can be impacted. It's a hard game where taking risks (and stupid mistakes) can mean a lot of wasted time. The slow burn can be agonizing when you are 15 hours in and barely feel like you've made progress, but suddenly simple and intimate victories are made rewarding. Succeeding in sweet-talking one person, intimidating another, or finding a clever and tricky way to complete an objective often feels more rewarding than becoming a powerhouse and solving every problem with a sword. As much as the game frustrates, it frustrates by design and intention. For every situation where I felt that Kingdom Come was wasting my time, I always wanted to come back to see how I could subvert and overcome the systems for just another small victory.

Kingdom Come's rough edges are smoothed by the knowledge you're playing a game where no detail is too small. Exploring 1400s Bohemia is a sure-fire delight.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is a great game that can appeal to many people. A true RPG fan will love this game. KCD is a truly immersive experience where you will lose yourself for hours on end. The open-ended gameplay allows for you to accomplish your goal in a multitude of ways. Combat is not straightforward, and it is hard all while being the best it can be. Players will be able to mold Henry into the medieval character they want to be.

It’s not just about completing the story, it’s about longevity. How long will this game keep my attention? I can tell you that 30 hours into the game I’m still finding new things and still learning the whole way.

Though has some evident flaws, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a very different RPG: great historical accuracy, well crafted combat system, a stunning world, with some brilliant ideas and a few awful Skyrim-esque gameplay flaws.
