Dead Island 2: Haus Reviews
This very brief DLC offers some quality laughs, but few other reasons to revisit Hell-A.
The Dead Island 2 Haus DLC is a very small expansion that doesn't bring anything substantially new to the experience. Its brevity prevents it from overstaying its welcome, but the additionl of a cool crossbow weapon is not enough to get most players to return to Hell-A so soon.
Anyone who enjoyed Dead Island 2 will probably enjoy Haus as well. It has the same engaging humor and social satire, the same gory action, and even more visually impressive levels. What it doesn’t have are a lot of new ideas. It’s a pretty short romp, too. Haus is definitely, for better or worse, more of the same. I’m ok with that.
Dead Island 2's first of two expansions delivers some flashes of enjoyment, but it feels a bit too repetitive, in spite of how brief it is.
If you loved Dead Island 2 madly or bought the Gold version which also included the Season Pass, Haus will give you a couple of pleasant evenings, but in all other cases the advice is to wait for a price drop or the inevitable Game of the Year Edition which will include all the post-launch DLC.

Dead Island 2: Haus stands out for maintaining the game's basic structure and presenting a new uncompromising story without much logic. With a short duration and little beyond the basics, it lacks enough content to warrant a return to the game.

Haus adds almost nothing more than what was seen in Dead Island 2. The purchase is therefore only recommended for fans of the brand and those who want to invest a few extra hours in the company of friends.

I am really glad I got back to Hell-A, explore this new magnificent house and punch zombies to a pulp once again. The writing is even more funnier than the main game and my man Ryan is absolutely hilarious. If you loved Dead Island 2, you are probably going to love the HAUS expansion.
The guys from Dambuster bring us with Dead Island 2: Haus a short DLC that shows what they are capable of. In this first story DLC of the two that includes the expansion pass, we will enjoy a story completely separated from the main thread, told with a peculiar sense of humor and an excellent visual display. Dead Island 2: Haus leaves us, without a doubt, wanting more.

Dead Island 2: Haus fulfills the function of expanding the bizarre universe created by Dambuster well, however, its biggest sin is presenting so little, considering the size of the potential, both narratively and in mechanics. Almost nothing in Haus really stands out as a big new feature beyond the base game. Its story is interesting and maintains the acid tone of comedy and criticism, adding areas with more terrifying and dark visuals, but little aligns with the expectations created with the end of the campaign.

Dambuster Studios seeks to monopolize our time with Dead Island 2 - Haus, the first DLC of the horror FPS that struggles to get on everyone's lips, but without the ambition to achieve it. It's not bad content, but it feels like a lot of wasted potential that, leaves us with a taste of little. Perhaps it would be better to wait a bit before returning to Hell-A.
