Without a doubt, Star Wars Outlaws is one of the best games of the year and I also consider it one of the best Star Wars games released so far, as it delivered an experience that exceeded my expectations.

A Star Wars fan will find many beautiful details in Outlaws that appeal to them. In particular, the crime gap between the 5th and 6th film is perfectly reflected in the gameplay. Those who like the classic Ubisoft formula will also be very pleased with the abundance of planets and atmosphere changes.

Star Wars Outlaws is an entertaining game from start to finish that delivers an amazing gunplay, beautiful world and ample content. That being said, technical issues are still present and side quests and side activity lack the depth and variety we would expect. Nonetheless, you're going to have a blast playing Star Wars Outlaws!

Outlaws is a fantastic adventure worthy of the Star Wars universe. Competent in several areas and shaking up the Ubisoft open world formula for its games, Kay Vess' adventure is fun and interesting from start to finish, filled with unique details of an incredible universe.

Star Wars Outlaws is a compact, charming, and highly entertaining open-world video game. Despite some issues, I recommend it to fans of story-driven open-world games. Ubisoft Massive’s new game breaks away from the routine patterns of Assassin’s Creed or Far Cry and draws inspiration from other well-tested games in this genre. Overall, Star Wars Outlaws is a game that both Star Wars fans and Open World game enthusiasts will enjoy playing.

Star Wars Outlaws could have been THE Star War game. It provided a rich world and lore that kept me intrigued for hours, but the gameplay systems are not only marred by technical problems but it even lacked the execution despite the brilliant ideas it has

Star Wars Outlaws’ impressive characters, staggering world-building, hooking story, amazing soundtrack, and engaging gameplay, make this the first authentic open-world experience that every Star Wars fan deserves. Massive Entertainment outdid themselves and it paid off.
Outlaws might just be the best game to ever bring the Star Wars universe to life—and possibly one of the best open-world games of this generation. It stands out with its stunning and diverse visual design across the galaxy’s planets, delivering an unforgettable experience. However, the absence of main bosses and the repetition in some story missions held it back from reaching its full potential in the final evaluation.

That said, if you are willing to invest the time and effort to follow through on the story of Kay Vess in this particular period of Star Wars, there is much to get out of it. Underworld intrigue, systems that work well with each other to entice players to do more, and the interesting reputation system that figures into most actions you will take all help to create a true sense of progression both in a narrative and gameplay sense. Whether it will hold your attention is one thing, but at the very least, Star Wars Outlaws will have you shouting dank farrik out of astonishment and frustration during your journey to the top.
Star Wars Outlaws is a strong step forward for Ubisoft and Massive. While it has its flaws, such as the underdeveloped reputation system and occasional AI issues, the game successfully captures the spirit of Star Wars.
This is a game that I can recommend to everyone, regardless of their love of Star Wars, and be comfortably certain they will enjoy it. What a time to be a Star Wars fan.
Star Wars Outlaws is an engaging game that captures the essence of the franchise with its vibrant settings and compelling narrative. The partnership between Kay and her sidekick Nix adds charm and humour, adding to the overall experience. While some gameplay elements, like stealth missions, can feel repetitive and the AI may be inconsistent, the open-world design encourages exploration and meaningful choices through a reputation system. Overall, it’s a strong addition to the franchise, offering a mix of action, exploration, and storytelling that will resonate with fans.
[I]f you have even the slightest beat of a cantina drum in your heart, then Outlaws is the [game] you have been waiting for. To walk around and have your own adventure in a galaxy far, far away. What a treat.
Star Wars Outlaws has so much going for it, despite a few minor performance issues that are maybe to be expected within an enormous open world to explore.
It pains me to not easily recommend Star Wars Outlaws, as it’s got so much Star Wars DNA and a competent formula for the most part. If the stealth felt more like being sneaky and less like moving like a snake to avoid sightlines, and the combat rewarded skill in your ability to overcome enemies instead of just spawning more and more, this would be a home run. What’s really here is unpolished, tiresome fighting that makes up most of your gameplay amidst the rest of the pieces of the pie that are strong.
Star Wars Outlaws is a game you will tip your hat to. Ubisoft’s open-world formula is stripped back to a more palatable level and explores an intriguing story from a new perspective in a galaxy far, far, away. From the action, stealth, space battles, and juggling of cartels, there are elements in Outlaws that will appeal to just about everyone.
Star Wars Outlaws might have had a rough launch, but many updates have been applied which make it a decent and enjoyable experience. There are a few rough edges here and there, but if you can get past those frustrations which you're hopefully now aware of if you've read this review, then you'll be able to enjoy a brand-new and shiny Star Wars adventure. Sadly, the forced ray-tracing means the game cannot run at an acceptable level on the Steam Deck, so you'll need a more powerful device to play this one.
Star Wars Outlaws is an action-adventure game that, on the one hand, brings good and fresh ideas, but on the other hand, copies the same practices as every other Ubisoft game. While the game manages to create a vibrant world that any Star Wars fan will love as well as a fun reputation system, it flounders on generic gameplay and one-size-fits-all template quests. If you haven't played a game from Ubisoft in so long, you'll probably have fun. But if you're looking for anything more, Star Wars Outlaws simply isn't it.

I did enjoy my time with Outlaws, I just wish I had enjoyed it more. Technical issues and inconsistencies brought down what I thought was a varied and entertaining experience. However, if you love Star Wars and see this title on sale, it may be worth a punt. There is fun to be had in Outlaws, even amongst it’s niggly flaws.
Star Wars Outlaws is a highly produced, quality open-world RPG with stunning graphics, perfectly simulating the life of an outlaw in this vast universe. It takes about twenty hours to explore, or even double that if you want to delve into every corner of the galaxy. The game introduces original characters and a fresh story, with the most impressive feature being the innovative reputation system integrated into the gameplay mechanics—a true breath of fresh air for the genre. Ubisoft has proven to fans that a great Star Wars game doesn’t need Jedi, the Force, or lightsaber duels. We’re looking forward to an even more spectacular sequel in the years to come!
