Kirby Air Riders Reviews
Whether you want something a little more fast paced than Mario Kart World or want something loaded with content to get your money’s worth out of the Switch 2, Kirby Air Riders is an excellent addition to any Switch 2 library.
Kirby Air Riders brings all the chaos from Super Smash Bros. bringing the same pros and cons with Nintendo's lovable fluff ball to the next level. (Review in Portuguese for Entertainium Brasil).
Kirby Air Riders is absurdly challenging to get into. The controls are complicated, and the process of unlocking things is a mess. But when you eventually understand the gameplay mechanics, the sheer amount of content, the thrilling races, and the modes like City Trial and Road Trip, will keep you engaged no matter how long you play. Masahiro Sakurai has done it again!
Kirby Air Riders isn't the game that will shake up the Switch 2 line-up this year, but Sakurai has managed to realise his dream: to bring a forgotten series back to the top. And he has done so in a way that may not be excellent, but is still worthy of the name it bears, with brilliant insights and satisfying dynamics. But be warned: this is not a “new Mario Kart”, let's be clear.

What's really great about Kirby Air Riders is that it gives players a reason to keep playing. Players will naturally earn achievements as they play, and that makes it hard to put down. It's clear that Sakurai fully fleshed out the game he wanted to make in 2003, and the passion he had for Kirby Air Riders really shines through.
Kirby Air Riders is a winning bet on Nintendo Switch 2, delivering many hours of fun from the simple and making each competition an exciting experience.

Instead of betting on a vast open world or a grand online component, Kirby Air Riders sticks more to its own game, with its satisfying single-player campaign, chaos, and creativity.

Kirby Air Riders is the ultimate proof of Masahiro Sakurai’s brilliance, delivering a deceptively simple experience that hides an incredibly high skill ceiling beneath its gameplay. Beyond reviving the addictive chaos of Urban Trial and offering robust customization, the title is a delightful surprise and a love letter to fans. The game arrives fully localized with Portuguese voice acting, which cements this work not only as a triumphant return, but as an instant classic that is indispensable in any Nintendo Switch 2 library.

Kirby Air Riders is a racing game packed with tons of content, but the gameplay itself could have been better. However, if you don't mind the strange decisions regarding the controls, you'll find a game here that was created with passion. If you're someone who loves to max out games, you'll be in heaven here.

Kirby Air Riders is a fantastic follow-up to a GameCube classic. The racing is deceptively complex with a high skill ceiling.
Kirby Air Riders values itself as a toy as much as a racer. It might sound like a backhanded compliment, but it’s an ideal racing game for anyone who quickly grows bored of most racers. You can take it seriously, but it’s also a box of ideas to play with and jump between as you please. Fun comes foremost. If Mario Kart World is a full meal, Kirby Air Riders is a desert-only sugar rush of bite-size delights. Yet somehow, it didn’t leave me feeling sick afterwards.
Kirby Air Riders is a very personal work by Masahiro Sakurai: polished, varied, and with surprising gameplay that turns two simple inputs into races full of precision and technique. It's unique, a lot of fun, and full of brilliant ideas, but it's also a heterogeneous game whose content may not appeal to everyone equally. It's a very special video game in the Switch 2 catalog.

Kirby Air Riders is further proof that Masahiro Sakurai and his team just can’t go wrong. The racing mechanics are incredibly satisfying, there’s no shortage of content to enjoy, and it always feels like you’re accomplishing something and unlocking new things. Even if you’re not too into racing games, I implore you to give Kirby Air Riders a try, as it’s fun in its purest form.

After having played Kirby Air Riders for myself, though, I’ve come to realize that I don’t think I missed very much from this series. While it features stellar presentation, gorgeous maps, and a simplistic control scheme that just about anyone can pick up and play, Air Riders often feels shallow and gets stale after playing for only a few hours.
Kirby Air Riders delivers an unusual, combat-focused approach to kart racing, offering far more content than you’d normally expect from the genre. Unfortunately, it sometimes throws in a bit too much chaos and explosions, which can be hard to follow with the limited control.

Kirby Air Riders shakes up the kart racing genre in a massively refreshing way, and has a ridiculous amount of content to explore.
Whether you're a fan of Kirby, racing games, or just games that are flat-out satisfying to experience, you need to give Kirby Air Riders a shot as soon as possible.
Kirby Air Riders highlights Nintendo's interesting decision to not only rely on heavy hitters, but also to build on concepts that it had neglected for years.

Kirby Air Riders is an intense, fast-paced racing and battling game, with additional challenges to add variety. The price point may be restrictive for casual gamers, so I hope they introduce a demo and GameShare, so that more can experience the joys and thrills that Kirby Air Riders offers. If racing is your happy place, then it’s probably Two Thumbs Up. For me, there was enough to be greatly entertained, with the racing being challenging at points, but not so hard to make me feel incompetent.
