Rivage is an intriguing sci-fi puzzle game that uses the ability to loop time as a central mechanic.
Rivage is a very good looking game and has some great talent in its voice acting which, alongside the written messages, emails, and notes, all goes to give depth to characters that are not present. However, the puzzles are hit and miss. While most are a decent challenge, some outstay their welcome and feel padded out along with the multiple barriers placed in front of players.
Rivage has an interesting premise but struggles to meet its potential.

Rivage is a fine-enough puzzle game, but some questionable decisions make it a more frustrating than enjoyable experience.
If you're not puzzle-minded, Rivage is going to be an absolute nightmare with its lack of handholding and direction. But if you've got an analytical mind and thrive when challenged, you're going to absolutely love this immersive sci-fi experience.

Rivage presents an impressive puzzle adventure in a jam-packed yet uninhabited spaceship with tons of challenging puzzles to solve. However, it has its frustrating moments in the later stages so it's tough to recommend to anyone other than diehard escape room fans. 🛰️
Rivage is a mysterious and visually beautiful experience, but its puzzles can feel tedious and difficult at first. Despite some technical and audio issues, it remains a good experience for fans of exploration and puzzles.

Rivage is a smart sci-fi puzzle adventure that combines a mysterious space-station setting with a wide variety of escape-room challenges, clever use of its K9 information system, and a time-loop mechanic that adds an extra layer of planning. Rivage requires willing on the part of the player to really get invested in the world, but let it sink its hook in you and it’ll be an immersive adventure that you won’t soon forget. Excellent stuff all round, and another notch in the already impressive bow of Raw Fury’s output.
In the end, I had to place Rivage on a list of games that, in the long run, didn’t bring me as much enjoyment as I’d hoped. It’s not all doom and gloom, though: some of the puzzles are quite ingeniously designed, but the moments when I truly appreciated the task at hand were few and far between.

Overall though, Rivage is a solid puzzle game from ‘Exnilo Studio’ & ‘Raw Fury’. If you are looking for a fully immersive science fiction puzzle game then look no further. While it can be frustrating at times I found myself thinking about the game and coming back for more time after time. Just have patience and the game can be so rewarding.
A game you can’t simply rush through, and that’s exactly why it keeps you hooked for entire evenings. Eleven hours of reading, listening, and taking notes on a station that someone clearly designed with genuine care. A wonderful game!

This year was strong for sci-fi fans- we had a lot of good books being published, new seasons for a lot of sci-fi series (including Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), and of course, some new movies, including the adaptation of Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary. Rivage fits well with these stories and will offer a few hours of time-bending, space-station fun for true sci-fi fans.
Rivage is definitely not typical walking simulator. It’s a space station packed with puzzles, and if you’re just looking to walk through beautiful environments and listen to the story, you’ve come to the wrong place. However, if you want to put your brain to the test with well-designed puzzles, despite its flaws, Rivage is a competent title, even if it doesn’t really bring anything new to the table.

it’s a convoluted, frustrating journey to get there, and it’s not one I’m entirely sure was even worth it come the end. Every time the power cut out, or I ran into a dead end, or needed to back track, I started to really dislike that arcade machine. Come the end, I began to hate it. Like I said – a brave choice for the developer to make.
