Dodgy framerate aside, the deeply political Watch Dogs 2 is an improvement over its predecessor in every possible respect.

A massive improvement over the first game in nearly every way, Watch Dogs 2 is an extremely successful entry into the open world genre that should not be missed by fans. Hopefully future entries into the series can knock it out of the park.

Watch Dogs 2 brilliantly solves the main issue the first game had while providing a world full of enjoyable missions. We faced some problems with the camera specially during car race. We also faced some issues with connectivity and online play. In the end Watch Dogs 2 is a game that delivers on most parts and will provide hours of enjoyable content.

Watch_Dogs 2 is a substantial upgrade from its predecessor both in terms of gameplay and graphics. To anyone put off by the unfulfilled expectations of the first game, Watch_Dogs 2 is worth a shot.

Nasty bugs aside, Watch Dogs 2 is a superb game. A true improvement over the franchise's first outing in just about every sense. A wicked cast of characters backed up by some sharp and witting writing. A visual treat for the eyes and a good mental workout with those mind-bending puzzles. A bloody good game, basically. If you've a gap where Assassin's Creed would normally be at this time of year, Watch Dogs 2 will fill the gap, make another gap, and fill that one too.

The lovely campaign, great character development, improved driving, the beautiful virtual San Francisco, and the interesting gameplay mechanics made Watch Dogs 2 one hell of an open-world experience. The story may not standout but it’s a far better plot than the first Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs 2 is inventive and amazing! A sequel worth playing.

Watch Dogs 2 is a great step up from the original Watch Dogs, and certainly seems to be driving the franchise in the right direction moving forward. It’ll be interesting to see where Ubisoft decides to take the series next. One thing for sure, I hope that there is another sizeable gap between this one and the eventual Watch Dogs 3, if there does happen to be another one. Going away for a couple years gives fans of the games time to appreciate them more, especially with Watch Dogs 2 since it is such a great game with a lot of content to hold fans over for now.

Watch Dogs 2 is a much stronger open-world hacking sandbox experience than the first. While not to the same level as Assassin’s Creed 2 which accomplished much for its similarly divisive first entry, this game’s more varied mission structure and lighter-hearted tone elevates it to a must play this holiday.

Whilst I have not ventured into the multiplayer very much mode as of yet (That section of the review will be coming soon!) I have found a lot to love in Watch Dogs 2. It is not a perfect game by any means but it is an incredibly fun experience with lovable characters and side stories which I highly recommend picking up.

Watch Dogs 2 is very different, in a good way, compared to Watch Dogs. Brand new game mechanics, a well done story and a solid co-op mode. Ubisoft have added what was missing in the first game and improved what was bad as well.

Watch Dogs 2 is better than the its first installment, but it's far from being perfect. We love San Francisco & Marcus, but the game's narrative is not great, the driving is not good and we have been waiting for the multiplayer experience for almost two weeks after its initial release.

Watch Dogs 2 adds a lot to a series that had a poor start. San Fransisco is an incredibly beautiful and fleshed out location for a game that has a much brighter tone that the original. Yet a lot of the good is weighed down by issues returning from past Ubisoft titles (even though those issues had been completely eradicated in the past). While the game feel fun, it is hard to shake the feeling that Ubisoft has taken a step backward thanks to these issues.

It’s still lacking a certain je ne sais quoi, but this is a definite improvement on the first game and a serious alternative to GTA V.

Watch Dogs 2 offers loads of entertainment in a playground-like rendition of San Francisco that rises above the first game's soggy, downtrodden atmosphere.
