The Resident evil series which lives more than one generation of consoles and not going to finish and ongoing. The story originates from a gas station, where the protagonist stands before the mirror, agitated by a message from his dead girl who asks him to go to town Silent Hill... but no.

Overall, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is a worthy successor to the series and the game we have all be craving if you’ve been a fan since the original game. It’s incredibly scary, creepy and chilling and yet I cannot stop playing, opting to face my fears than run away. The game gives me no excuses to stop playing and I love it. While there isn’t much longevity past the story I truly believe that this is one of the best Resident Evil games since the original

Resident Evil 7 is a horror game that has jumped on the bandwagon of “run and hide” survival horror and added their own twist. And they’ve done well. The unsettling and intimate environment, the crazy “Texas Chainsaw” family, and the realistic scenery all combine into one to create a truly immersive and terrifying experience.

Resident Evil 7 is exactly what the series needed to keep it moving forward, and honestly, it’s what the horror genre needed to keep it fresh and exciting. Hopefully other developers become fueled by the success and praise Resident Evil 7 has been receiving to kick start a revival of this beloved genre, which has been quite lacking as of recently. Capcom fully has my attention again, and while the game isn’t perfect, it is absolutely the best Resident Evil game we’ve seen in the last decade.

Resident Evil 7 is exactly what the series needed, a return to it's roots but with an added twist, a first person perspective. This is without a doubt one of the best Resident Evil games in years, a great terror game and the best experience in Playstation VR.

Resident Evil 7 is the most fun I've had where my heart's longevity was seriously in question. It's genuinely frightening and thrilling,

It’s true, Resident Evil VII does feel like a magpie – snatching little bits and pieces that catch its eye from horror games across the past decade. Throughout the game, you’ll see chunks from Amnesia, Outlast, P.T., Silent Hill 2, F.E.A.R, and more. But, despite this patchwork, there is one game it feels like most of all – Resident Evil. REVII gets the roots of the series right, and it’s the scariest RE game we’ve played in years, and also the most substantial VR experience money can buy for PlayStation VR.

Resident Evil 7 backpedals on series conventions while advancing in ways that make it feel fresh, yet familiar. It's a stunning piece of game design and survival horror that should not be missed.

So if you're a scaredy cat like me or you just want to prove how fearless you are, I totally recommend that you play this game. I can say that it will definitely change the way you perceive horror games. May it be that you probably don't want to play it again or that you would want to relive the encounter over and over to make yourself numb to the scare. I love to be scared and I love the satisfying relief that it brings when you overcome it, and I can't wait for the next installment of this game or the next DLC they provide because this game is absolutely satisfying. Now let me go hide in the corner so that the Baker family doesn't catch me.

It’s a bit of a cliche but there’s no doubt that Resident Evil 7 is a return to form for both Capcom and Resident Evil itself. It’s horrible, grotesque, and panic-inducing, but I love it.

While the series is no longer the co-op action game that I came to enjoy, I can’t deny that its new first person perspective and successful return to its survival horror roots make for a fantastic entry to the series.

Overall, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard looks backwards in order to move forwards, not just by re-focussing on horror but also in a number of other less headline-grabbing ways.

You could say that P.T. might have sparked this change in direction, but the team at Capcom brought their own Resi flavour and it tastes horrifically good

Resident Evil 7 is bold and ambitious, but it takes all the right risks with an intellectual property that has desperately needed a shot in the arm. It’s unnerving and unsettling, but is the satisfying return to form Capcom worked so hard for.

"Resident Evil 7 didn't just take the series back to form, it perfected it. Sure there will be satisfying combat but not before running around for your life filled with dread. The story and plot twists were entertaining as they were interesting and all the scares that came along with it. The voice actors did a phenomenal job and so did the level designers. There was never a time where I felt safe and ready to take on the next challenge. Old schools fans of the franchise will love this outing and is a perfect opportunity for new fans to hop on board. Just don't burn the midnight oil alone."

The presentation of this is superb. The screenshots do not do this justice and as for the sound.. Listen to this through a home cinema system and it's going to be atmospheric. For the true experience play it through head phones and don't blame me if the slightest knock, scratch etc. has you jumping like a jack rabbit. This is one slickly executed game. Visually impressive yet visceral, atmospheric and genuinely scary. This is the Resident Evil we have been waiting for for such a long time.
