This Is the Police Reviews
This is the Police has a very charismatic character, well written and hilarious dialogues. The most strong point is a very interesting story to play, along with a pleasant soundtrack and peculiar art style. But, in most of the game, the strategic gameplay of the police, becomes tiresome after a few hours. Even so, it is fun to have an experience of the police routine.

This Is the Police is a pretty interesting management simulator with an engaging plot and tackles issues that feel all too relevant in today's society, despite it taking place thirty years ago. It gets kind of repetitive at times and the issues brought up don't go that deep, but I still found it to be a competent management simulator with a unique aesthetic and gripping plot.
This is the police is a bold game, innovative and creative. It has an impressive style and a compelling narrative.

I’ve really enjoyed my time with this very unique game. Yes there are pacing issues and it does outlive its welcome once we get about two thirds in, but for the price, there is a lot of game on display here.
This Is The Police takes the running of a police force and turns it into a strategic, management game with light RPG elements. You won't see any action here and the unreasonable, random demands made can be frustrating. However, throughout all of this, there is a narrative and a goal that can keep you engaged and entertained for many hours.
This Is the Police is a fun game on Nintendo Switch with a minimalist look, an interesting story, and entertaining gameplay mechanics. The price might at first seem high, but rest assured that this one has more than enough content to justify its asking price. If you're more into purchasing physical copies of Nintendo Switch games, you can do that when This Is the Police releases at retail on December 5.
An excellently acted story. Really puts you in the unconfortable shoes of a jaded knight who triest to believe in good in a world where at most you can sail on a sea of shades of grey.

For the first title of this young Belarus studio, WeAppy's This is the Police managed a feat by combining narration and sim-management and is a must for fans of both genre.
Form-factor Nintendo Switch, This is the Police revealed the full extent of the operation is optimized for games with joycon and games on the touch screen, a sort of slowness pales against the portability of the device, and tasks that the developers have come up with humor that will make smile even the most repulsed of the melancholic, all of the above says only one thing, control of the police station interesting, and the plot tries to keep you in suspense, the only question remaining is who in the childhood did not dream to become a police officer?

Taking over the role of police chief to run Freeburg would have been a great simulation/management game on its own, but then add layer upon layer of villainous folk and reasons to go over to the dark side, and the game becomes a fully immersive experience that requires great difficulty to put down.
This Is the Police is one of the best simulators I have played this year: it's engaging, fun, and it never gets boring. It's the perfect game to play in handheld mode since it's a release you will want to play at all times. Download the game today!
All things being equal, I’m hard-pressed to think of a game that more exceeded my expectations than This is the Police. A fully-formed, engaging story that’s tied together underneath a solid and demanding simulator game is certainly something I’ve never seen before, and it’s all handled excellently.
Playing through This Is The Police made me think about morality, bigotry and oppression more than any other video game
It’s a bit of a mixed bag. If you’re happy to sit idly waiting for balloons of jobs to pop up, and take each day as slowly as it comes, then you’ll probably get a lot more out of this tale of corruption and downfalls than I did. But if you’re interested in deeper systems and micromanaging your officers, forget it, it’s Chinatown.
So here I am, trying to protect the city by allocating my force to adequately address issues that arise, when a green icon appears on the screen. I click on it, like I would any other case, and it is a night club looking for help in controlling a line outside, due to a missing bouncer. Without giving it much thought, I send a capable officer over to support the community’s need. At the end of his shift, he quits - citing that the club pays more than the police, and the club owner slides me $4700 for the “favor”. Just like that, I’m a corrupt cop with a hole in my roster. Apparently, I need to pay more attention, or I’ll be in the pokey myself.
This is the Police is a dark gritty cop noire game, with real-world moral choices. By having this game on the Nintendo Switch makes it an ideal game to grab and lose some hours into it away from a TV screen. Highly recommend it!
