Hollow Knight Reviews
Hollow Knight arrives on consoles after the successes achieved in the PC field last year. Born thanks to the Kickstarter campaign launched by the very small Australian studio Team Cherry, the metroidvania that decides to debut on Switch in its passage on consoles reconfirms itself as one of the best exponents of this genre that has returned to fashion in recent years. Enriched by an inspired artistic direction like few others, Hollow Knight guarantees its buyers at least fifteen hours of challenge and entertainment.

Hollow Knight is a huge and rewarding adventure that's full of satisfying secrets and challenges.
Another one of the titles I didn't originally review for the system, this is another one of those games that would be criminal not to include on top lists, especially given its difficult-but-addictive nature...
Although it doesn't take that many risks, Hollow Knight is unique enough with its Metroidvania elements and its own take on Dark Souls lore. Its gameplay is tight and fluid, its art direction is on point, and it provides more than 30h of enjoyment if you consider the multiple endings—which are more engaging than a couple of choices right after the final boss fight—as well as the free expansion packs, all of which add enough content to prolong the experience.
Hollow Knight is a content-rich Metroidvania with great visuals, a well designed combat system and a memorable mysterious world. It's easily one of the best games of 2017.

Hollow Knight is a new classic, with a dense and detailed world full of secrets to discover.
A unique, technically impressive and mechanically sound addition to the metroidvania subgenre. Hollow Knight is a great challenge, not lacking in any of the quality expected of similar, yet higher profile titles.
Despite not having any new idea to offer, by borrowing some elements "Hollow Knight" has become a quite astonishing metroidvania experience. Its artdesign is perfect and the soundtracks are ear catching. Its mysterious and puzzling environment encourages you to explore more of it and the awaiting battles are challenging and demanding. If you're a fan of metroidvania games then you should NOT absolutely miss this.

Hollow Knight takes the classic metroidvania formula and builds on it by creating a deep, harrowing world for you to explore. Its smooth, intense combat and innovative progression system are sure to draw in fans of the genre.
Hollow Knight is a fantastic adventure platformer with a massive world and a captivating aesthetic. With such an enticing price point, this game is a must-own for fans of the genre.
It’s a stunning game, majestic in art design and fluid in combat. It’s difficult at times, but the rewards for getting to the next area far outweigh the frustrations.
Hollow Knight is a visually stunning Metroidvania game that's as fun as it is difficult -- and sometimes a little terrifying.
If it isn't clear, Hollow Knight is not only what I'd say is the best game so far this year, it also very well may be the best metroidvania title out there right now, and it is easily one of my favorite games of all-time.
Gorgeously presented and cleverly designed, this impressively realised Metroidvania excels in every area except originality.
Hollow Night is set in a mysterious, dark and dangerous world, in which the player has to try to survive. A passionate love letter to the genre of 'metroidvania'

Hollow Knight is a satisfactory metroidvania experience, perhaps taking too much inspiration from similar titles. Anyway, it is a must have.

Overall, I truly enjoyed the experience this game has brought me. It has given me just the right amount of challenge and yet it's also not letting you get off easy.
