Gundam Versus Reviews
I had fun playing Gundam Versus, but couldn't stand it over a long period of time.
Gundam Versus might not be the best fighting game around, But its varied Mobile Suit abilities will definitely help increase the fun. A great addition to the Gundam universe.

It's tough to say whether Gundam Versus is worth the purchase at full price. It lacks content, especially for those interested in single-player modes, and the multiplayer portion can easily be tarnished if you're matched with someone who has a poor internet connection. When the stars align and everything is functioning properly, there's a lot to love here. It doesn't make any efforts to impact gamers and bring in new players. When you have a small community to begin with, the only way to go is down. The only reason to buy Gundam Versus is if you have friends who will play it with you, or if you feel you'd get enough use from the single-player options to merit the purchase.
It really is a shame that Gundam Versus has so many technical problems.
Beyond the impressive visuals and large collection of different Gundam units featured in the game there is not much else going for this title. Gundam Versus is an interesting title that will tick all the boxes for any fan of the series but sadly does not feel like a complete package that is lacking in reliability and content.
Neither accessible, nor enough of a Gundam tribute for this community to remain large for any significant period of time, I fear.
Gundam Versus offers a fun combat system and an abundance of mobile suits to fight with in the game. While the Arcade like experience might give it some longevity, it also makes it harder to recommend it for those who aren't really a fan of the series.
Long-time fans of the series has another thing to get excited about – the soundtrack. With songs ranging from the oldest of Gundam anime, nostalgia will surely rush through your veins. This, with the large roster of playable Gundams, and how good a fighting game Versus actually is, might be a reason for fans to pick the game up. For some, however, I suggest you wait for the price to drop.
Gundam Versus is a very good game that features some great combat and runs really well. It might disappoint some with the lack of certain characters and series from the roster, but the roster is still very strong. Overall Gundam fans will find something to like, there’s a lot on offer with this game and it should have you hooked for a good amount of time.
The idea of a competitive Gundam game isn't bad, but after a few hours the game definitely starts to feel quite stale and sometimes the class system doesn't feel radically different from one Gundam to another

If you are a fan of Gundam or giant robot action in general, Gundam Versus will keep you entertained for a while
Of course, no game is without its problems, and much as I really like Gundam Versus, it has a few. For a series whose home entries used to have quite a fair bit of single-player content, the relative lack in this entry has an extra sting to it. And the localization is a bit...Limited, for something with a retail release. A lot of incidental dialogue has no subtitles, so it's just a steady stream of stuff you have no hope of understanding unless you know Japanese. There's also the issue that the game is online-multiplayer-only, limiting options for things like LAN play or, even better, split-screen.
You can’t go wrong with giant robots, and Gundam Versus shows us just how fun the buggers can be. It’s a solid arena fighter that can quickly turn chaotic, and it’s great fun for fans of Japanese-style arena action titles. Some parts are repetitive, and there’s a fair bit of grinding, but it’s a pretty underrated fighter.
Dull gameplay and a lack of interesting game modes makes Gundam Versus a buy for only the most hardcore of Gundam fans.
A good Gundam game. While it is an interesting mecha fighting game, it lacks to offer something else. A must for Gundam fans, but not so appealing for a more casual audience.

Gundam Versus brings its action packed 2-on-2 fighting the PS4 with a bang. This is the first VS title to make it overseas in over a decade and a half, and it's awesome experience.
