Resident Evil: Revelations - Nintendo Switch Edition Reviews
The game is technically a delight on Nintendo Switch since being remastered, the textures and resolution are much higher than the original 3DS, the Joycons work great and the framerate is very stable, there is a lot of fluid feeling constantly.

If you've never played either of these titles before and a fan of the genre they're a worthy addition to your library. Otherwise there's little added to warrant a re-purchase.
Overall, I'd say Resident Evil Revelations Collection is the best portable Resident Evil experience to date. It's also the only survival horror game on the Switch right now and is equally enjoyable in the Switch's handheld and docked modes.
Resident Evil: Revelations for Nintendo Switch is a huge step up from the Nintendo 3DS version. It's a great survival horror experience but can't quite hold up with the HD remasters on other consoles in terms of technical specs. But if you haven't played this one yet be sure to check it out!

In the end, Resident Evil Revelations is a fun play through. Nothing is really added aside from motion controls and the ability to once again play on the go. Players who have previously played the game may want to skip the game. Long time fans of the series or players who have not had the chance to play can certainly enjoy the game.
Resident Evil Revelations Collection is chock-full with high-quality horror-action that placates old and new fans alike with its clever implementation of traditional and modern mechanics. As a package, this is an irresistible combo of terror for those who fancy some on-the-go blockbuster horror.
Resident Evil Revelations on the Switch is a great campaign to run through, and a fun online mode to spend time with if you're still hungry for more. It feels a little bit aged now, years on from its original release, but it plays better than ever on Nintendo Switch thanks to gyro aiming, high framerates, and a crisp, sharp resolution. Well worth jumping in for Resident Evil fans and anyone looking for a fun, handheld shooter campaign.
Resident Evil Revelations is a great entry in the legendary survival-horror series and a great fit for the Nintendo Switch. The bite-sized chapters make short bursts of play in handheld mode ideal, whilst also translating well to the big screen. Just make sure you don't book any cruise holidays in the near future - it's certainly put me off!
Resident Evil Revelations suffers from some problems, but none that stop it from being one of the stronger entries to the Resident Evil series.
The last bit of the Nintendo Switch's 3rd party support of 2017 offers 2 enjoyable RE outings, though not without their quarks.
These are the perfect RE games to play on the Switch, with fantastic motion controls and a whole host of cracking DLC to boot.
It might not be Resident Evil 7, but this is nonetheless a great addition to the Switch's growing library of ports. Revelations is a real console horror experience, with the benefits of a handheld, at a great price point. There's not much to fault!
If you haven't played the Revelations games before, this is a great way to do such. Switch-specific features, solid gameplay, good graphics, and fun online are the highlights of this collection, and being able to play them anywhere is a great convenience.
Resident Evil: Revelations gets an enjoyable Switch port from Capcom. The motion controls remind us of the Resident Evil 4 on the Wii and the game runs well in both portable and docked modes.

If this is your first time with it, don't hesitate: it's one of the best written, more intense games in the franchise. If you played it before, the new features don't justify paying for it again.

A great horror game in Nintendo Switch, that keeps the experience of the original but with interesting add-ons like the movement-based controls.

Both games do look good on the Nintendo Switch's hardware. Neither are particularly ground-breaking works of visual design, but they get the job down, and so far as the Switch is concerned, character models are detailed enough, and environments are clear enough to make an impact when they need to.
Resident Evil Revelations Collection is a cheap, but entertaining games for those looking for more Mature focused titles on the Switch. Both of these games offer strong campaigns and a solid multiplayer component that can easily eat up around a dozen hours each.
Resident Evil Revelations is a solid means of experiencing what was once one of the 3DS' most notable exclusives. It would have been nice to see some kind of effort put into presenting a unified front, with a common UI and a synced up approach to controls.A certain sense of porting laziness aside, though, this is a fine entry which stands proud in a storied franchise. The original Resident Evil Revelations was a great 3DS game at the time, and it remains a surprisingly solid, refreshingly breezy experience here on Switch.
There is absolutely no denial that this game is very good, with a decent campaign to play through and an absolutely amazing online mode to sink hundreds of hours into. However, because it is this game's third incarnation on a Nintendo system, whether or not to purchase Resident Evil: Revelations will all come down to whether one wants to play it again, or whether or not it is their very first time.
