Overall, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame is an enjoyable racing game packed within a fairly lacklustre wrapper, one that doesn't try hard enough to please anyone but the hardcore supercross fanbase.

Now the patches have hit it is a solid little Supercross simulation game that many can play. There is scope for further improvements but you can definitely get your Supercross on with it.

Monster Energy Supercross is a good title, that can grant to all the supercross fans hours of fun. Threre are some technicals problems, and the carreer isn't brilliant, but the gameplay is truly solid.

Milestone has a solid footing with Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame. If the team offers continual support that carries over to new titles, this series has the potential to be something special.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Video Game is an enjoyable representation of Supercross, but doesn't quite reach its true potential.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame is actually a surprisingly competent for what it sets out to do, and fairly accommodating next to something like NASCAR Heat 2, which generally just didn't care if you were hoping to get into the genre.

MES2 is a fun entry into supercross gaming and might do a lot better with more attention to detail.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2 doesn't even have local multiplayer unless you have two systems and two copies of the game, which is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen of late! The polish, quality, and most of all fun, simply isn't here. At a whopping $59.99, this is an easy pass.

Developer Milestone S.r.l. has been making racing games for so long, it comes as no surprise how nicely Monster Energy Supercross turned out. From the detail in the dirt, to the details in the bikes, this is not only a great looking game, but a great racing game too.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame is a competent dirt bike game that will properly give you all the thrills of the real deal, in a fashion you can customize to your own liking. However, considering this game is priced as a full AAA experience, we can't but think that all the content from the remaining versions that got cut from the Switch retail release is not enough to justify this version's portable aspect. So buyers beware: you're picking up a brand new dirt bike with several key components missing, which is a somewhat troublesome trend on third-party Switch releases.

A solid and dedicated start right out of the gate, Monster Energy Supercross struggles to maintain its momentum across the entire race as technical issues and a bland road to Supercross glory hamper its progress.

We are not facing a bad game, but the frustration is great when thinking about the potential of the title. Some bugs ruins the experience and the feelings are uneven. Monster Energy Supercross is not advisable for someone who wants to discover the discipline or get into motorcycle games. On the other hand, those who are fans have nothing else in alternative anyway, and could be satisfied.

The physics dynamics of driving on a dry surface versus blasting and sliding through mud changes your approach to racing on a track.

Monster Energy Supercross is a step ahead in mastering Unreal Engine by Milestone. It is overall a fun, spectacular and intense motocross game. The sense of speed is great and the action, although more arcade than MXGP, is always tense and gripping. Unfortunately, its great potential is undermined by the lack of polish, AI balance and some poor design choices, which limit its sense of progression.

A lot of Monster Energy Supercross' issues on their own really aren't too bad, but when taken all at once, the game is disappointing. Many of the problems – like load times – are more quality of life issues than game problems, so if Milestone could tidy this stuff up then it'd go a long distance. But it's the inconsistent physics that are the real kicker, and detract from the generally acceptable presentation and decent selection of modes. It's better than nothing, and North American supercross fans will surely appreciate the fact that the title exists at all, but it could be so much better.

A solid first entry in the series. If you're a Supercross fan then you'll easily get knee deep into the excellent track editor and have good fun hurtling around its muddy tracks.

What there is to say about Monster Energy Supercross is that it is an improvement from Milestone on the MXGP series. It certainly can be gripping and it's more than challenging once you get the settings right. Racing through your own career is pretty fun to say the least. The only thing is that, like other Milestone titles, it has it's issues that could do with working through.

Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Video Game is a well crafted and unique racing title that attempts to capture the unique elements of dirt bike racing. The game is fun and has a lot of detail in its gameplay elements as well as the riders, bikes, and tracks included. Unfortunately, loading lag times and other issues stain what would be otherwise a very solid racing experience.

While possibly catering to fans of the sport in terms of content, the overly aggressive AI and unnaturally twitchy handling mean that Monster Energy Supercross just isn't that fun to play.
