This is well on the way for becoming my game of the year come December… But for now you have won this spider-fan’s seal of approval. Spectacular visuals, amazing story, superior combat. All these come together to make, in my opinion, the ultimate Spider-Man game.
Spider-Man by Insomniac is for games what Homecoming is for movies. A great game with amazing graphics. Fans of Spider Man will be in the seventh heaven. The others - will delight in the quality of the whole.

No other game exists that offers the same experience that Insomniac's Spider-Man does. Even the Batman: Arkham series from which Spider-Man garnered many of its ideas from does not implement a system that constantly injects a sense of wonder like web swinging. Peter is learning to stand as an idol for New Yorkers, and Insomniac manages to put players right in the driver's seat. The LA-based studio knew it had great power when it was given the reigns to one of Marvel's biggest faces, and every ounce of effort poured into this project shows that. Spider-Man on PS4 is not just a love letter to everyone who has ever loved the wall-crawler as a superhero; the game is a love letter to everyone who has loved his games too.
Spider-Man on PS4 is an incredible experience, it’s beautiful, packed full of action and tells a wonderful story. Don’t hang around, grab this game today.
Marvel's Spider-Man is a complete package that near-flawlessly combines elements of the RPG world with the thrilling combat of an action-driven experience. Whether you're a hardcore spidey fan or just like to dabble in spandex, Marvel's Spider-Man is, in a word, amazing.
Fans of Spider-Man, superheroes and even single player games should play Marvel's Spider-Man. despite having some issues about the side quests, in general game offers a very interesting and fun experience and has enough great features that soon you will forget it's few problems.

Spider-Man is a must buy and the new king of superhero games, Rocksteady you still out there?
Marvel's Spider-Man leans heavily on the tried-and-tested open-world formula, to its benefit and its loss. While it apes those that came before at every turn, it does so in such a way that it doesn't even matter - it's a beautiful Spider-Man game that tells its own story while delivering gameplay that's familiar but fine-tuned. Spend a few minutes swinging around and you'll barely care for the game's shortcomings. This isn't just the best Spider-Man game to do - it's the best super-hero game thus far.
Marvel's Spider-Man rarely has a disappointing moment. Right from the beginning a combination of high-speed action and outstanding writing creates a harmonious adventure that combines action, story-telling, and graphics for a near-perfect experience. The optional objectives can be a bit repetitive but Marvel's Spider-Man is a superhero game that rivals the excellency of the Batman: Arkham games.
Ratchet's creators did the impossible. Best Spider-Man Game? Of course. Best superhero game? Yes. And this is written by a loyal fan of Batman and the production of the Arkham series. Long live the new Spider King!

Your friendly neighborhood hero, Spider-Man has officially arrived in New York and the PlayStation 4. What is quite obvious in the game is you play as Peter Parker obviously, and in Insomniac’s Spider-Man you will be taking on all the bad guys throughout the gorgeous scenery of Manhattan with his fast, agile movements and upgrades. Not only has Peter been Spider-Man for eight years now, he is going after some of the biggest thugs in the city including the Kingpin!
Marvel's Spider-Man is one spectacular and perfect game that truly captures the character.
That's when it feels most special, and it's then that what Insomniac has achieved here is most plain. Much of its design is familiar, but it appears here in a refined, polished form that makes it an easy recommendation.
Amazing graphics and spectacular webswinging/webslinging help overcome a sometimes-frustrating camera and repetitive missions.
Spider-Man is a fantastic action game with great movement and combat and a compelling story that's only dragged down from time to time with boring missions and QTE-based boss fights.
The overall result is a spectacular experience that wins with varied play, humor and amusement park-like excitement. But the experience is lessened, too, by predicable narrative, and the limited reactions of the non-playable denizens who populate this open world island of Manhattan.
Marvel's Spider-Man is the best game starring the titular comic book hero yet and another strong title in the PlayStation 4 exclusive library. 'Nuff said.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is an undeniably flawed game. Its voice acting elicits more cringes than smiles, it regularly sends you on bland filler missions, and in a post-RockSteady world, its approach to stealth feels positively PS2-esque. Yet, despite all of this –it’s a game we can’t bring ourselves to put down.
Ultimately, Marvel's Spider-Man masters practically every aspect of superhero games that have come before, but it does so in an uninspiring way.
The new Spider-Man is worth your time and money – the storyline, exploration and tons of easter eggs provide loads of fun. This is possibly the best game for PS4 after God of War, and while Spider-Man is not quite up there with Kratos, "slightly worse than GoW" is still a huge compliment.
