A great driving game, a poor racing game. Has some technical issues involving controller support and their idea of multiplayer is somewhat unusual for this genre. A game I would happily spend more time with, but can't recommend highly in its current state.

With Ubisoft's newfound focus on making singular games into long-standing experiences, there is hope that The Crew 2 gets better. In the here and now, it is a very difficult game to recommend. The use of multiple vehicles and presence of different disciplines is grand, but it doesn't help that the physics and handling for some of the vehicles feels off. The open world remains impressive but less so when there's barely anything fun to do. Although it's designed for constant online play, good luck trying to find someone who stays long enough for you to engage with, let alone someone who can witness the sweet decal job on your vehicle. It may get better in a year's time, but for now, The Crew 2 is more of a chore than an enjoyable experience.

Taking an American muscle car at 300 km/h along a gorge, falling hopelessly into the void and ending up maneuvering gracefully an aircraft in an instant is a pleasant driving experience that is rarely seen in the racing genre; but it's just one of the many activities that The Crew 2 has prepared. It's a game you either love or hate; while fun and accessible, not all of its elements shine as it could.

If you look at sales figures for The Crew 2 recently, you would've noticed that it hasn't been performing particularly well considering the amount of money that went into PR, advertisements and sponsorships.

The Crew 2 is a respectable game and a fun experience for a short amount of time. The game world is filled with gorgeous vistas and fantastic visual fidelity. I think with DLCs and future entries, we might see the evolution of this series

Ubisoft didn't fix anything that was wrong about The Crew, and instead made a game similar to Steep. But without beautiful snow and funny fails.

It is slightly disappointing to see how Ubisoft decided to just focus on making a bigger open world game while forgetting the essentials of what makes them so great. The Crew 2 has a lot of potential in the future with free updates and content that might be added to it, but in its current launch state, it is, unfortunately, a shallow experience that doesn't have much to offer for those who are looking for a competent racing game.

The game, unfortunately, represented a big frustration after waiting for a long time and many were hoping it becomes Forza Horizon available for all platforms and compete with it, but the game compels you in some way to go back and update Forza Horizon 3 instead of investing more hours in it, we're used to Ubisoft on Support and update games and listen to criticisms but there's a lot in the game that can't be fixed with updates specifically for the open world activities, the game really pushes you to think, did we need a second installment of the series with current state?

The Crew 2 is a fantastic racing game with its own great and unique features that made it different from the rest of the Racing games. Having four different modes, with so many beautiful and pro cars, airplanes, boats and also a great map to play, make The Crew 2 very fun to play, even with some problems and issues that the game has. Racing with your favorite cars and vehicles in an incredible map and beautiful cities of United States, make you one of the best experiences you ever had in racing games. it would be definitely better If The Crew 2 had an online PVP section from the beginning, but Street Racing, OffRoad, Freestyle and Pro Racing, made a game that absolutely worth your time and money.

The Crew 2 is a good racing game with a vast open world and that, at times, is a truly wonderful experience. However, the game would have to maintain this level of quality in a constant manner to belong with the best of its genre. Today, The Crew 2 is a great foundation to something that could be marvelous in the future.

The Crew 2 offers a wealth of varied content to undertake in a huge open world, but the entire experience is shackled by too many gameplay and design annoyances, with hastily borrowed mechanics that never really come together.

At the start of this review, I came in thinking I would really like The Crew 2. And that was certainly my first impression of the game; the ambition and energy was infectious. But a few hours more play on and I've realised that The Crew 2 really isn't all that engaging.

It looked promising, but The Crew 2 falls wide of the mark, in infuriating fashion. It tries to grab people's attention with its technically impressive map, its instant vehicle-switching, and with even flashier motors, yet all of this is just a deluded sales pitch for a seriously lacking package. It doesn't address any of the fundamental flaws of the original, such as repetitive races and too many bland open spaces. The motors from within each vehicle type aren't distinguishable in handling at all, the physics are poor, and the voice acting and music are irritating. There's no sense of achievement from anything, thanks to a poor XP and unlock system. Worse yet, there's no real multiplayer to speak of - posing the question, why on Earth does it require an Internet connection to play? The Crew 2 might seem enjoyable for a couple of hours, but it quickly starts to feel empty. Stick with Forza Horizon.

The Crew 2 has a lot of potential, but its great graphics and sound design doesn’t make up for its lack of content, lack of online multiplayer and weak AI. Maybe it’ll get better via monthly updates as the previous version did, but at the moment, The Crew 2 is not much superior to its predecessor.

The sequel is a total mixed bag, filled with odd design choices and pointless campaign race that don't match the tone.

The Crew 2 is not a bad game but it does not deserve the investment it requires. Buy Onrush, Wreckfest instead of this. Or better, wait for Forza Horizon 4.

The Crew 2 has a beautiful open world and there is a lot of variety in its races, but the weak character models and the absence of competitive mode at launch held this game back.

The only motivation to play the game is to get more loot and improve the existing cars. While it's not all that glamorous, it's undoubtedly a much worthier pursuit than getting followers. Despite all the cool features that are touted, it the end is just a soulless racing game that doesn't excel at anything but also doesn't really fail in any significant way.

The crew 2 offers a variety of disciplines along with a massive collection of vehicles, however the open world is still empty and in desperate need of more challenges.

The Crew 2 is a vast improvement on the original in every aspect. The environments offer a vast, exciting, and expansive world to explore. The huge variety of racing events, alongside a near endless progression system, promises hours of play time, and the car customization is the best we have seen this generation.
