Spyro Reignited Trilogy Reviews
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a perfect example of what a good remake should be. Toys for Bob took everything special about the original trilogy and made it better with a fresh coat of paint. This is the definitive way of playing Spyro the Dragon.

This compilation still manages to offer three rewarding experiences for anyone who chooses to embrace them.
Spyro's original adventures have been lovingly recreated in the Reignited Trilogy, so if you're ready to fire up the legends again and explore a vast and beautiful realm disguised as a fire-breathing dragon, then you simply can't miss this one.
Overall, these remakes of the Spyro trilogy are great, and new and old fans alike will probably have a lot of fun with them. I know I did. But that doesn't change the fact that certain bits and pieces of dated mechanics and designs do hold these games back ever so slightly from being almost as great in 2019 as they were in 1998.
Toys for Bob has clearly done an excellent job bringing Spyro to the modern audience.
A brilliant remaster that has wiped the dust off the original Spyro trilogy and given it a lease of new life in the hope of introducing Spyro to a new generation of gamers. The Nintendo Switch feels like the most suitable home for a family friendly mascot platformer where so many primary colours are at full bloom, so it is a shame that it has taken such a long time for a port. The low level difficulty will be quite off-putting to seasoned gamers, but charming characters, varied worlds and a number of items to collect will keep younger players entertained for quite some time.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy looks absolutely amazing on Nintendo Switch. It is still fun to play with its simple gameplay and colorful environments.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a very high-quality and well-polished remastered version of three of the best platformer games of the PS1 era. The gameplay hasn’t changed much but after all these years, it still feels fine and very enjoyable. The game had a complete visual overhaul and almost everything has changed and now it completely looks like an eighth-generation platformer. Some parts of the game –especially for the first game- may fell repetitious and boring after a lot of time. However, I can recommend this game to everyone who seeks an exuberant and fun platformer game to play.

If you're a fan of Spyro or 3D platformers in general then Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a must-play compilation.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the Switch is a beauty to behold. The dragon feels at home on the Switch, with its easy and accessible gameplay, but it suffers from several framedrops and severe loading times.

The original three Spyro games have been completely remade and you can feel it when it comes to the controls and camera. Luckily it goes unnoticed more often than not as you’ll be smitten with a fairy-tale story and beautiful music.

Forget the original games, this is where the real fun begins.
One more on the list of great remakes, faithful in almost every way to the original trilogy, fun, extremely replayable and a great opportunity for anyone to meet this character for the first time, or to fall in love again, perfect to commemorate the 20 years of dragon life.

Gamers who are happy to experience a truly sublime blast from the past, will be enthralled with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The title does a fantastic job of rekindling the fires of nostalgia. Allowing older gamers to re-live the 90s in the best way possible; through smooth and familiar gameplay and becoming familiar, once more, with the same magic that made Spyro's world so unforgettable all those years ago. Newer gamers, on the other hand, will be able to enjoy a classic experience made infinitely more accessible with a wondrous Pixar-like aesthetic. The title is a delightfully magnificent ode to a classic character, warts and all.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a perfect remastering of the original Playstation games, where everything is kept exactly the same but with a very dignified face-lift and according to the graphic power of the current systems. Stewart Copeland's soundtrack is still one of his biggest claims. Perhaps it can be made easy for those who are used to the difficulty of current games and the camera is not completely accurate, but it is one of the best occasions to remember a little bit of history of video games.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the perfect Christmas gift for old school video game lover. Those whose childhood consisted of gliding around collecting coins, and those who perhaps weren’t as lucky
With Spyro Reignited Trilogy, you have the rare chance to plunge back into a world you may have spent countless hours exploring as a kid, with all the fit and finish of a present-day title. It’s sure to please longtime fans of the series, and newcomers will find plenty here to enjoy. There’s never been a better time (or a better way) to play Spyro.
After the financial success of the Crash Bandicoot remake it was almost inevitable that a slew of studios would follow suit and recreate other iconic classics. With Medievil and Resident Evil 2 looming on the horizon, Activision’s Spyro Trilogy was met with some criticism over delays and controversial downloads before its release. Thankfully, the game (or games as the case may be!) is another sure-fire hit, keeping everything intact that made the originals so endearing with enough of a graphical upgrade to make it worth the extra cash.
These words hold true as we near the end of 2019. And the added functionality of a handheld option further the possible enjoyment more than ever before. Comparing the PS4 and Nintendo Switch version reveals that you don't lose out on much if played on either system.
