After eight long years, Mega Man makes his triumphant return. Though it may be the same cut and paste formula from the last 10 entries, Mega Man 11 adds just enough new content to make the Blue Bomber relevant again.

All in all, I rather enjoyed Mega Man 11, and feel it was worth the long wait. But I have a proviso. I love pretty much everything about this game, but I think it proves Capcom has no more excuses to wait more than two years before the next one. They still know how to make a great Mega Man game, and they can plainly see there is still plenty of demand for them. For $29.99, fans can’t really go wrong with this. It isn’t perfect, and I feel the Double Gear system was a bit half-assed, but it does so many other things right that it’s hard to complain. If you’ve been waiting for a new Mega Man game, or just want a great platformer, you can’t go wrong. Nice to see Mighty No. 9 did one thing right.

Like most Mega Man games (the ones not called Mega Man 2 or Mega Man 9), Mega Man 11 is not perfect by any means and has plenty of flaws to nitpick. But, considering how extinct the franchise was and how Capcom took a huge leap of faith on the fans greenlight this in the first place, I'm grateful that it exists and that it feels like a fresh, natural fit for a whole new generation.

When Mega Man 11 was first announced, I was somewhat wary, especially considering it was to be a new addition to the original series. However, whatever concerns I might have had quickly melted after just a short period of time with the game, which is absolutely spot-on about how it carries the classic style of Mega Man games. It has a challenging, sometimes punishing platforming design that demands both quick reflexes and a helping of forethought. The double-gear system is a fresh new mechanic that enhances the original design as opposed to attempting to replace it. The overall presentation and artistic style of Mega Man 11 gives the impression of a Saturday morning breakfast cartoon, which actually fits perfectly as a progression of the classic Mega Man appearance. For old fans of the series or absolute newcomers, this game should be an enjoyable scratch for anyone with a platforming itch.

All in all, Mega Man 11 is a pretty good game, despite the number of glaring flaws. I urge all of you to try it out for yourselves and grab a copy if you wish to see what the Blue Bomber has new in store.

I would love to play a take on Mega Man that's built with the present in mind, and not linked to the past. As it stands right now, I have no problem saying that Mega Man 11 is probably the best in the series, but it's also showing that the series has to come up with something new, especially now that they've shown what's possible.

Mega Man 11 is frankly something I consider fantastic. I unfortunately don't particularly anticipate this title bringing in newcomers who previously disliked Mega Man, just by means of the added complexity and much raised skill ceiling (even though the floor has also been lowered slightly), as well as the fact that it is still every bit Mega Man at its heart, for people who are already fans of the franchise, I'd be surprised if they weren't extremely satisfied with Mega Man 11, as there's a LOT this entry improves, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is by far my favorite entry into a franchise I already had a fondness for, and I'm pleased as a peach with what they've put out.

Mega Man 11 is definitely a step in the right direction for Capcom. The new graphical style, the interesting gear system, and some of the most unique bosses, stages and weapons make it a nice return to form.

Overall, Capcom has revived the Megaman franchise and reinvigorated it with modern day gaming platforming excellence. The graphics, the soundtrack, and the actual gameplay meld into one complete package that fans and newcomers alike can enjoy. While the game does carry a hefty price tag across all platforms, the sheer number of hours of enjoyment it’ll give you makes it all worthwhile if you’re a fan of 2.5D platformers.

In 2010, Capcom left all it's fanbase heartbroken by cancelling all of the upcoming Mega Man projects. Now after 8 years, Mega Man 11 has proved itself to be Capcom's redemption. This game does not only succeed in being a decent Mega Man game but it is also a friendly gateway and starting point to newcomers.

Overall, Mega Man 11 is every bit as entertaining as most of the Blue Bomber's numbered legacy, though it also plays a bit too safe.

With Mega Man 11 Capcom brings back the series to life with success and manages to deliver a short, but very well made Jump N`Shoot that stays besides very little improvements true to the franchises` core mechanics. A loveletter to the series and a must-have for everyone who likes classic plattformer-action.

It is a real pleasure the return of this beloved series by millions around the world after waiting for many years since the release of Mega Man 10. I still believe that the game still holding on to its unique style and the difficulty that pulls you to complete the game and to finish it many times, but at the same time while I am in the game I am still certain that its development was quickly terminated and could have been better than the final version that got released. For the fans of the series in which they will enjoy the rare classical experience in Mega Man 11, but as the regular gamer who has no interest in the series may face some difficulties to make him finish the entire game.

Mega Man 11 brings back Capcom's Blue Bomber in all his glory, complete with the series' trademark difficulty as well as new modes that help ease in newcomers and less technically skilled players. Admittedly, the game's challenge can feel cheap at times and stages can feel a bit drawn out. That being said, this is a great first take of a modern Mega Man for this generation and one can only hope it doesn't take another five years for the next game in the main series to come out. Now how about Mega Man Legends 3, Capcom?

As a Mega Man game, this version stands tall. However, there is no escaping the fact the formula is starting to show its age. Tough, challenging platforming we have all seen before.

Very good port of a classic into the modern era. Veterans of the series waited for that but for new fans, Mega Man 11 lacks innovation.
