After the rather lacklustre LEGO The Incredibles recently, Tt is back on top form with LEGO DC Super-Villains. This is a real joy for fans of DC Comics, absolutely stuffed with Easter Eggs and inside jokes that cater to every type of DC fan. From the DC films, the Arrowverse TV shows, to the classics, the cartoon series, and, of course, most of all, the comics. Along with containing some really great designed stages and areas, it also has the best story and cast in any LEGO title to date. It's this high quality across the board that will make this more than "just another LEGO game."

Despite an impressive roster and some top-notch actors to voice them, Lego DC Super-Villains is a tedious game that fails to capitalize on its best qualities.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is a charmingly funny game that combines the joy of LEGO with the creative coolness of the DC roster. The game isn't hard by any means, but it's a great casual romp through an interesting story. The massive roster is impressive and the detail put into each character makes each one of them worth putting time into.

There is a lack of fresh gameplay elements in LEGO DC Super-Villains, but the story is genuinely funny and has its moments. The highlight is easily the character creator, which offers the players plenty of options to customize a new supervillain.

LEGO DC Super-Villains might not deviate much from the already successful formula but adds enough content to justify the price tag. Characters are plentiful and allow for tons of replayability in the end. I look forward to the series future, despite this game feel too similar. .inpostad { width: 300px; height: 250px; } Story continues below (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Packed with jokes and DC fan service but the Lego formula is long overdue a complete revamp, because it's starting to ruin concepts like this that are otherwise ripe with potential.

Lego DC Super-Villains doesn't shake things up that much, but it doesn't break anything either. Ultimately, above-average level design and a dizzying amount of DC content mostly make up for the game's bland action and lack of polish. Lego DC Super-Villains might not have the chops to take over the world, but it may conquer a surprising amount of your family's free time.

LEGO DC Super-Villains doesn't change the core LEGO game formula much, but does its best to work within that formula and deliver a fresh experience through its storyline.

LEGO DC Super Villains delivers good, clean, accessible family fun with recognisable comic book villains getting up to mischief. If you’re a fan of the LEGO games, rest assured, this is another fantastic, content filled entry into the series. It’s not the best entry point for new comers and has a few technical niggles but for those in its target demographic, it’s a real hit.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is another fine LEGO game, featuring a decent story and lots of content.

As you'd expect, LEGO DC Super-Villains doesn't make many attempts to change up the formula that's served it so well for so long, but with a vast library of well-applied and famous baddies to draw from it offers a far more engaging and memorable story than the stretched-too-thin LEGO The Incredibles. However, with a brilliant cast on hand (can anyone really compare to Hamill's Joker?), a vast sandbox hub and all the customisation options you could want in Danish brick form, this familiar playground still has bags of charm.

A fantastic character creator and a funny story makes you want to play in the DC-world. The levels might be unbalanced sometimes but the extra content in the open world makes up for that. Playing together is a blast even though splitscreen isn’t dynamic.

LEGO DC Super-Villains distracts from its repetitive and formulaic gameplay with typical LEGO charm, great character interactions, and mirror-sheen polish. Ultimately, however, it's just a nice coat of paint on a framework that's on its last legs.

The LEGO formula may be growing tired at this point, but LEGO DC Super-Villains is still one of the best games TT Games has produced and is an excellent use of the DC licence.

Easily the best Lego game I've played. A fantastic cast of characters made better by incredible voice work, good comic book story, a great character creator, and improvements to core mechanics make Lego DC Super-Villains pure entertainment.

Again this LEGO game is another game fun for young and old gamers. The gameplay is accessible for younger players, but certain elements make it fun for experienced games too.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is a lighthearted romp with those interesting villains that we love to hate. Sprinkle in some chaos, fun abilities and characters that gets far too powerful for their own good and you get to explore the DC universe a little differently.

A Lego game with an original story featuring a who's who of DC villains (and a few heroes for good measure), a universe of great locations, and plenty of bricky humor. A few game killing bugs do hinder the overall experience (at least on Switch), but otherwise Lego DC Super-Villains is a blast to play, either alone or with another aspiring no-goodnick.
