‎The good work they have done with the game's controls is appreciated, one of the critical points in adapting to a controller a control as complex and with as many options as the one offered with a keyboard and mouse. Saved this point, we only have the part of enjoying a strategy game, complete, fun and highly addictive.‎

A blend of touchscreen controls and physical buttons makes this one of the most convenient ways to play Civilization VI, and the portability makes it the best version to play on the go. Recommended to everyone who's looking to build a nation or take over the world.

Civilization VI for PS4 and Xbox One is a clear example of how to adapt a strategy game from PC to consoles. Thanks to its interface and controls we don't miss playing with the keyboard and mouse.

Civilization VI is a great adaptation of the strategy classic for Nintendo Switch. Controls need some learning, but the game is deep and fun (and we love local multiplayer).

Although it doesn’t include all the PC game’s extra content, Civ VI comes to the PS4 and Xbox with both the Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions and the latter in particular is a literal game changer. I can certainly imagine using Civ VI as an engaging educational tool to consider the many competing forces around climate change.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI is a fantastic addition to the Nintendo Switch library. It brings one of the best games on PC to Nintendo's handheld with little compromise. Sure there's no online multiplayer and the Rise and Fall expansion is missing, but everything else about the core game is present and correct, especially in that it's as addictive as ever, in fact probably even more so.

A brilliant port and a brilliant game. There aren't any real issues with the game whatsoever and nothing that would put you off purchasing it. If you are a fan of the series or even interested in the Civilization series, it is a must buy!

The Switch edition of Civilization VI brings the full (base) Civ experience to a handheld. For this alone it's an essential purchase for strategy players, but the interface and presentation make this one of the best games on the console on its own merits.

It's Civilzation on Nintendo Switch in all its glory. It's full featured, plays great with the Switch control schemes and is addictive as ever.

It's Civilization VI on Nintendo Switch, virtually spotless and capable of running even better than it usually does on certain unhinged laptops. Of course, she sucks the battery like a vampire, and in the most complex games she can trudge like an old woman uphill, but having it in her pocket is an emotion that is renewed with every turn.

Absolutely recommended both to those who want to go back to rewriting the destiny of humanity with a pad in their hands and to beginners who wish to approach one of the most important fragments of gaming history ever.

If you think Civilization peaked at IV, the sixth entry won't change your mind, but we envy anyone who's never played the series – Civilization VI on Switch is a brilliant introduction.

As far as turn-based 4x games, the Civilization series remains the best in the business, and Civilization Vi is no slouch in the lineup.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI is still a great game. Regardless of the platform, it retains its charm and deep gameplay. Versions for stationary consoles turned out to be very successful with well-adapted control for gamepads. If you are a fan of the genre and did not play the game, do it on any convenient system for you.

The already marvelous Civilization VI makes the jump to PS4 almost entirely intact, and with the addition of two meaty expansions, this is an essential title for console strategy fans. It's a little overwhelming for newcomers, but it treats the player with respect and rewards a curious mind with an utterly absorbing experience.

Civilization VI is an excellent strategy game that offers numerous ways to play, and all of them are viable options. You can lead a peaceful nation or a war-mongering empire and still have an engrossing and rewarding experience like few others on PS4. Excessive load times, grating music, and some occasionally irksome controls are the only real downsides to what is otherwise the system's best strategy game, and a title that strategy fans can scarcely afford to skip.
