Left Alive Reviews
Left Alive is a bundle of genuinely brilliant ideas, let down by frequently shoddy execution. A resoundingly anti-war war game, with a deep understanding of the way that war complicates personal and societal morality, Left Alive asks all the right questions that a game about war should.
Left Alive is the worst game of 2019 so far and it's not worth more than 20$. The game is full of nice ideas but developers could not find a good use of them in the game.

Left Alive is dated, boring, and simply not fun, and in 2019 and this deep into a generation, a game like this should not be released.

Left Alive feels like a flawed game in every aspect of the game design, but it is also strangely fascinating. There is just something about it that keeps pulling you in, but the gameplay is definitely not it. The game falls victim to its grand ambition which is a shame since it shows potential amidst all of its flaws.
I can’t possibly imagine anyone actually enjoying the soul-crushing ordeal of playing Left Alive.
Left Alive should have stayed on paper for more months. The chances of success were high, unfortunate game mechanics and controls are dragging the game deeply into the pit.

Left Alive promises stealth gameplay much like Metal Gear Solid, but it fails to deliver because of broken AI, weak storyline, and poor graphics.
There's a Left Alive, somewhere, that's intelligent and exciting, captivating even though its severe technical limitations. The one we've got, sadly, is clumsy, dumb, coarse and conformist.

After playing this game for nearly 2 dozen hours, I can rightfully say that it is not worth it. As much as I would like to see this through to the end, I just don’t have the patience to put up with it’s janky controls. I have died in the most absurd ways, with little to no fairness in any of them. Unless you are really interested in the story and how the side stories play out, I really can’t recommend this game. I may come to the game eventually, just to tie up loose ends. But the way it is right now. I’d rather put a hold on that for now.
Just make sure your legal distance with this game is preserved. Each one hour playing of Left Alive needs many hours of walking outside in fresh air just so you can deal with your bitterness and calm your nerves. There are only two reasons to play this game: First, you are a critic and you have to review the game; Second, you are a collector that wants to have the worst games of the world in his collection. Just pretend that this game was never published in 2019, forget everything and enjoy your life!

There are moments of really great gameplay and narrative that shine through, and I believe that a few sizable patches could make Left Alive a decent game.
“Left Alive insists you play it smart and conservative, but the combat has the potential to get stale early on. Having to revisit past locations with different characters magnifies the lack of variety, both in combat and level design.”
It's a stealth or action game and is rubbish at both. The AI will drive you up the wall and the three protagonists are forgettable. There is absolutely nothing, other than some beautiful artwork and a decent soundtrack, that leaves any hope alive of it being any good.
Left Alive is one of those titles that feels like its genre is going through a slump. Whatever the creators have been trying to create, the result is just a weak attempt to satisfy the fans of the tactical stealth action genre. This Front Mission spin-off will disappoint almost everyone.

Left Alive is a boring mess that succeeds as neither a stealth game or a third-person shooter.
