God Eater 3 Reviews
God Eater 3 might not be perfect but it's a lot of fun. The new gameplay mechanics make for a faster experience, something that works really well in this world, along with enough depth to keep players interested. By retaining some key elements, such as guns, power ups from enemies, online multiplayer and crafting, there is more than enough to keep most people interested for a fair amount of time. When you consider there is also a rather interesting, albeit anime-esque, storyline, it makes for a fine adventure. Sure, it isn't perfect or going to beat Monster Hunter: World but there is more than enough to have fun or join others in overcoming some obstacles.
To play God eater 3 on the go, shrinking down some graphics on Switch is inevitable. However, the gameplay experience remains the same as other platforms, and even better on the Co-op part, since the local multiplayer mode is exclusive to the Switch version.

A staggering amount of gameplay customisation options, and adrenaline-pumping combat make it easy to forgive and forget some of its few shortcomings.
Overall, I really enjoyed playing God Eater 3. It's far from perfect but definitely a step in the right direction. Despite sharing the same genre as highly established franchises such as Monster Hunter, it does well in separating itself from the rest with its own set of unique mechanics and style of combat. The lock-on system can get a little frustrating, but it's nothing you can't get used to. The lineup of Aragami can be improved, but I know more encounters are coming in the future via patches. A little overpriced for what it's worth in its current stage, but it's a game I'd personally keep.
God Eater 3 won't stoke the hearts of Monster Hunter World addicts too much, but it could prove to be a nice break for fans of that game. For God Eater faithful, 3 will undoubtedly become their favorite due to an overall better presentation and sharper combat and multiplayer.
God Eater 3 is a good hunting game, altough not a perfect one. The RPG structure focused on equipment and allies' growth allows to stage great hunts against giant monsters in a post-apocalyptic world. It is also possible to share everything both on single and online playing. By the way the game mantains its historical flaws such as being repetitive and running with a very raw graphic. Old fans will immediately feel at ease, but newcomers will have to take some time to ponder and get used to the system and narration proposed by the game.

Rough and wordy, God Eater 3 is not an improvement on its predecessor
God Eater 3 isn’t for everyone. Some will find it too easy, its story is passable, its controls take some getting to… I could go on. Thanks to its engaging fast-paced combat and considerable character development options, however, it’s well worth working through its flaws.
An empty game without much in the way of satisfaction. It's as if someone took the bare frame of what makes a God Eater game and sold it. God Eater 3 needed much more time in the oven, and while its polished presentation may look appealing on the surface, the hollow gameplay is where its true colors are shown. Compared to the precedent set by previous titles, it's a disappointment.
If you enjoy hunting down large monsters, taking their pieces to upgrade arms and armor, and are a big fan of anime and anime style games, by all means, head on out and pick up this gem.
Fans will certainly appreciate God Eater 3 as a solid continuation of the franchise. Newcomers, however, will probably have to force their way through a significant part of the experience to feel the same joy. There is a solid monster-slaying action-RPG buried under here; it's just a matter of how deep you're willing to dig to uncover its treasures.
In short, God Eater 3 more than proves itself to be the best entry in the series. The new and revised abilities give combat an extra layer of depth. Marvelous did a fantastic job ensuring that each weapon-type, new or otherwise, is exceptionally balanced and entertaining to wield. Ash Aragami lend an interesting dimension to each encounter. Players essentially have to learn two move-sets, and one of them is capable of wiping out their entire squad in seconds. Numerous quality-of-life features round out this masterful game.
I guess if the story and writing was sacrificed, it went to making a more concise and impactful gameplay with the addition of three new weapons into the series and the promise of additional content until Summer. This is a game that keeps in line with the previous entries. It's like that younger sibling who's managed to be more skillful and prettier than the elders, except for the rampant use of duct tape for clothes.
I enjoyed slashing away at Aragami enough to have a good bit of fun with the combat, but I could never escape the feeling that I could be having so much more fun by playing a better game in the same genre.
God Eater 3 is a game that, if it doesn't revolutionize the formula established on its previous entries and with its story being a bit hard to get into for those that don't have previous contact with it because of its very specific terminology, still has a responsive, challenging and fun gameplay, with useful online functionalities, a campaign with great sense of progression and that, even with a few stumbles, make it worth the invested hours for its great characters and emotional investment with worthwhile ending.

At the moment, God Eater 3 is the best option for the fans of the genre, and while some control and graphical issues are here and there, the gameplay is solid and the multiplayer section is very entertaining.

Despite having a fun gameplay and an above average story, God Eater 3's casual gameplay fails to compete with the bests of the genre. Nevertheless, the game manages to provide a fun experience

The best mix we can see between Monster Hunter World and Anime is to make God Eater 3 a special place for which no other game is involved but unfortunately it will remain Cult Hit weaker than the previous part

GOD EATER 3 is out now for Playstation 4, and Windows PC. Have we got your interest? Why not pick up a copy of the game?
As modern games approach a more broad design, God Eater 3 has continued with its linear but a more tightly focused gameplay structure. It works fine for what the game aspires here, but compared to its competitors, there is definitely a sense of disappointment and missed potential.
