CTR Nitro-Fueled is an essential purchase. Beenox have absolutely outdone themselves, creating a zany, entertaining atmosphere for a franchise that is going through an exciting transformation and renaissance.

I’m not going to mince words. This game is fantastic. Even with minor annoyances, I still had a fantastic time. There might not be more than two options for controls. There is every racetrack from both Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, beautifully recreated in 4K resolution for the current generation. The rubberbanding might be annoying, but the races are so fun that I didn’t care for long. If you don’t like kart racers, this game might not change your mind. If you do like them, you should definitely give Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled a try, especially if you were a fan of the original. It takes what’s great about Crash Bandicoot and puts it into the kart racing genre.
Overall, I enjoyed Crash Team Racing. Racing karts can be brutal, but fun. Adventure modes boss battles feel a tad bit unfair though. As each boss seems to have a gimmick that no ordinary kart racer usually has. Take Ripper Roo for example, who’s extremely fast and has unlimited TNT.
It's more than a full remake. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled feels like the definitive edition of past Crash racing games full of content and unlockables. This new take also remains colorful, fun, intense and just as challenging as the original.

That being said, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled proves that simplicity and nostalgia, with a few modern tweaks, works wonders. At $40, you can't beat a fun remake that covers content from three games over the span of six years
Adding even more content to the hit formula back from 1999, Nitro-Fueled is a prime example how a remake should look like: staying true to the original while updating the graphics and including loads of bonuses. This fun racer is the best alternative to Mario Kart to date!

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is the best remake published by Activision yet. Immensely enjoyable right from the start, respectful towards the original game and offering a huge amount of content. There's some stuff in it that isn't exactly modern, but that stuff makes Crash Team Racing the game that enthralled millions of players 20 years ago.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled delivers a fun karting experience, with a ton of content and just some minor issues that hold it back from greatness.
Today, remake games are just around the corner. Which bring from the past to great glories of what once were on great consoles.

While its initially harsh difficulty may ruin your happy memories of the original in a hurry, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is kart racing nirvana with an abundance of content to dive into that makes it more than just an exercise in nostalgia.
Between crazy customisation, adventure mode time attacks and endless amounts to do in arcade mode both solo and with friends, CTR Nitro-Fueled excels at offering a valued sense of replayability that'll most certainly keep players making return trips to channel their need for speed.
A wonderful, nostalgic trip that brings an old favourite back with substance and style. Despite one or two significant issues, it looks, sounds and feels better than you remember it. And while not perfect yet, it's the first game in some time that even comes close to knocking the Big N off their kart-racing pedestal.
Even if you never played the original, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is one fantastic kart racer
If you've already got other kart racers in your collection, Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled isn't a necessity.
