A questionable choice for a port with an even more questionable inclusion of gyroscopic controls. Turn them off and play with a Pro Controller, or ya know, on a PC or console.

As a game, Overwatch is the best it's ever been. As a port, you're likely better off playing another version.

Not necessary the best version of overwatch but it is a solid option for players that didn't get a chance to try it on console/PC, or prefer to play games on the go.

Overwatch is still a great game at its core, but unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch version is a categorically subpar way to play it.

On the Nintendo system, the game will fare its absolute best with the uninitiated.

Overwatch finally makes it to the Nintendo Switch but other than giving its fans an option on a Nintendo platform, this version is overall subpar experience. The framerate drop compared to the other versions, which falls even deeper in some moments and visual flaws make this feel like a downgraded experience, while the lack of crossplatform compatibility leaves this version isolated and its handheld advantage in impaired by the requirement of an internet connection.

Bringing Overwatch in your pocket with Nintendo Switch was a challenge, because the fast FPS style of the game is highly demanding. But Blizzard managed to make few sacrifices to keep a fluid experience for the players. However, the TV mode is lacking in graphics and you will have to start from scratch.

Technical problems take away most of the fun from Overwatch, making it hard to recommend.

Overwatch on the Nintendo Switch is exactly what it sounds like – a passable port for a videogame that is best played elsewhere.

Overwatch on Nintendo Switch is a prime example of a fantastic game marred by a sub-par port.

Overwatch on Nintendo Switch is a decent port. Sure, it might not have all of the visual bells and whistles as other platforms, but it is essentially the same experience. From a technical perspective, it is a less than optimal means of enjoying one of the best team-based online shooters available. Although the issues are noticeable, they never serve to ruin the game in a meaningful way.

Although the Switch version is a new way to play, it really doesn't add anything new to the game. If you were a fan before, you'll either want to play it again or you won't. But if you're a new player picking Overwatch up for the first time, then you'll very much enjoy the experience on Nintendo.

Overwatch Nintendo Switch brings over the full experience which is great, but it does sacrifice some elements of the gameplay to achieve this.

Overwatch on Nintendo Switch was a good experience. Knowing that you could play it everywhere you want feels good. But lack of 60 FPS of gameplay and low graphics quality on docked mod with big screen feels kinda sluggish.

Overwatch is an awesome looking game and a pretty good addition to the Nintendo Switch's library and with more than enough content to keep any player busy for a long time. While versions on other platforms feel more precise, this Legendary Edition is worth the $39.99 cost if you're a fan of the genre looking to play both at home or on the go.

We’d give Overwatch a recommendation, but with the caveat that you should consider first why you’re buying it. If you intend on playing it plenty when undocked, we can’t recommend it enough, but if you intend on mostly playing on the TV, consider first buying it elsewhere.

Overwatch on Switch is a fun experience that, while technically having everything from the other platforms, misses the very competitive edge that so many fans want from the game.

Overwatch for Nintendo Switch is a full-fledged Overwatch with nice graphics and relevant content, which is better to play on a large TV with a convenient PRO-controller in your hands. But even so, due to the reduced frame rate, this version looks less interesting to buy. Playing on other platforms will give you more positive emotions and will be cheaper. On the other hand, if you don't have other options, you can try Overwatch for Nintendo Switch. Blizzard's ingenious gaming formula, even with limitations, still works like a Swiss watch.

The best hero shooter ever made launches on Switch with a fair porting that allows you to play with your favorite character anywhere. On the other hand, Overwatch on Switch had to make some compromises in order to keep the same game experience that we all love.

Overwatch arrives on Nintendo Switch with a solid port, although it sacrifices important elements such as frame rate, graphic quality and control accuracy, to make use of the advantages of this console. These negative points eclipse in certain measures the excellence of this shooter. However, its speed when playing and versatility to be available on this console, make this version one to take into account.
