Filament Reviews
It's unfortunate that such a shortfall with its story, its delivery of such and the utter lack of reason to care about what's going on, is so evident.
Filament provides a brand-new puzzle challenge that is well-designed. Just be prepared for a steep challenge at times.
If you’re looking for a slick puzzler that’ll have you mired in your chair for hours turning around solutions, look no further.
Filament is a cute game with interesting mechanics, good plot, but too high jump in difficulty which instead of calmly enjoying a few simple puzzles before going to bed, plunges you into an intellectual duel that can last until the morning.

A vibrant and challenging puzzle game, Filament has a slick style that'll pump positive energy into your brain with every mystery that it throws at you.
Filament is a clever puzzle game that will challenge even the most ardent fans of the genre. The relaxing atmosphere helps to ease the frustration, but the complexity of later levels may put off casual gamers.
A deadly combination of challenging puzzles and curiosity-driven exploration, though it's the puzzle fanatic that'll walk away most satisfied.
Filament offers around 300 puzzles ranging from easy to extremely challenging, with some being mind-boggling. With a variety of puzzle mechanics used, gameplay is kept from getting repetitive. Investigating the happenings of the crew is interesting, although the ending is potentially vague and confusing.
Filament features over 300 cleverly designed puzzles, providing plenty of challenge, in an entirely relaxed environment. Some have multiple solutions, however, seemingly, the more complex the task, the more likely there is only a single workable solution. The backstory is told through the optional objects you find and by listening to Juniper.
The Nintendo Switch is home to many great indie titles that have flourished and found their natural home on the console; Filament is one of these titles. A slow-burn, Filament will test your patience with its complex puzzles and steep difficulty spike later on, but ultimately is one of the best experiences I've had on the Switch.
For an Indie title, this game has been one of my favourites. It is definitely something to get stuck into and perfect to kill a bit of free time. I feel it fits the needs of so many gamers at the moment, a nice break from all the overly saturated game genres we currently play. It is beautiful, both visually and audibly. Nothing seemed broken or negatively affected gameplay in any way. I couldn't really give a suggestion on how to make this game any better. It is just right, which to me gives this game a well deserved perfect ten. What a great little title.
For hardcore puzzle fans and Mensa members, Filament is a treat. It makes zero concessions to players but it is also completely fair in puzzle design.
This is one of those games that you can either spend a whole weekend playing through, or even just pick it up quickly during a lunch break for 15-20 minutes, then pick it right back up where you left off. High difficulty is very much present throughout the majority of the runtime; that said, I feel that this where it truly excels. The real highlight of the entire experience to be had within Filament is the massive number of puzzles, each being very unique and creatively designed in its own way. If you're looking for your next puzzle-solving indie fix, look no further than Filament, available now on the Nintendo eShop.
Filament is a fun puzzle game with wonderfully detailed environments to explore. Despite some storytelling issues, it should keep puzzle fans entertained for some time.
Filament is a great puzzle game that revolves around a certain space craft. Once you understand the basics, the developer intentions of pouring down difficult puzzles may feel a bit overwhelming. But once you understand the purpose of these puzzles required to be solved, you’ll deeply interact with the story of the game. The mystery elements you resolve after each puzzle is very rewarding and motivates you to soldier on even further.

If you’re the sort of person who solves Rubix cubes with one hand while finishing crosswords with the other, you may find Filament to be an entertaining diversion, and jolly good for you! Speaking for myself, I tend to like a little bit more sizzle in my steak. Maybe I’m just a twitchy dopamine fiend who needs to blow something up or have sex with an alien every few seconds to hold my interest, but as Popeye would say: “I yam who I yam”.
Filament is a rather strange puzzle game, but with its own identity. Surrounding pillars is the basic action we'll do, even if it sounds weird that way. However, Filament is only suitable for the brave, since its difficulty can be really high.
