Guns, Love, and Tentacles is a solid, but safe, Borderlands 3 expansion with an awesome Lovecraftian aesthetic.

So far Gearbox is two-for-two on the season pass, but only just.

‎Weapons, love and tentacles expands the madness of Borderlands 3 to horror literature with great success, making this participant in its chaos, its shootings and its macabre characters.‎

Similar to the last expansion, Guns, Love, and Tentacles is a return to form for Borderlands 3. Not only is the story great and handles the return of Gaige quite well, but it also offers a good amount of new things to see. Add in new cosmetics, a bunch of legendary gear and more and it's hard to say no to seeing all that it has to offer.

The “Novela” structure of the content is definitely a fresh change of pace and on top of that we finally get to see some returning characters. Also the DLC fixes some performance issues that is welcome too.

This is a generally solid expansion to the game, but one they could have taken further as it does seem to just be an alright playthrough.
