FAIRY TAIL Reviews
Fairy Tail is a decent RPG based on the famous anime and a game worth trying. Unfortunately, it could've been even better if not for its repetitive missions and limited areas.

Fairy Tail is pure comfort food for people who, like me, count the JRPG as the favourite genre.
The varying chapter lengths and uneven pacing are noticeable distractions, and there isn't much depth to the tasks you complete around town or through guild requests. However, these concerns are more than outweighed by the charming and funny characters and all the moments they have together. FAIRY TAIL is an easy recommendation for RPG and anime fans, but those new to either of those groups might just find a true sleeping beauty here.
Fairy Tail came out of nowhere to deliver a worthwhile RPG that rises above the usual mediocre material tied to anime games.
Fairy Tail is a return to form for the classic turn-based RPG combat of yesteryear. A huge cast of memorable characters, tons of side content, and incredible combat all come together to form one of this year's most impressive JRPGs.
Fairy Tail is an occasionally charming game for fans at best, and an incredibly repetitive RPG at worst.
Despite some limitations, Fairy Tail is a very good JRPG, with a great combat system, beautiful animations and visuals. All of this does a great job of retelling some of the main arcs of the series on which it is based, although its focus on pleasing fans ends up limiting its overall appeal.

Fairy Tail is really enjoying for fans of the anime but because lacking of storytelling specially about each character, would'nt be that much good for anyone else. Altogether the combat system and making bond with other characters make the gameplay amazing. Fairy Tail is really worth your time to try specially because of its amazing gameplay and combat system.

Fairy Tail is over-the-top, comical and captivating – and it’s one of the most enjoyable JRPGs I’ve sank my teeth into in some time.
pretty much fun JRPG game, but can be enjoyed mainly from those who follow the manga or animation, even with some annoying repetition of side quests the game presented a fighting system and guild development system in an amusing way, I recommend it to all fans of the Fairy Tail series.

FAIRY TAIL is a good experience as long as you are a fan of the anime series. It offers an interesting combat system and enough challenges to keeps those who are already in love with the anime engaged, but if you approach it as a typical RPG player you'll probably have a hard time finding a connection, as it is less deep and complicated than your average RPG game.

Fairy Tail is far away from being a great adaptation of Fairy Tail anime. Questionable choices have led to lack of depth in storytelling and characterization is really weak compared to anime. Fairy Tail also suffers from some technical issues and may be recommended only to those who really love the Fairy Tail anime.

Fairy Tail is a rushed spinoff that rarely has an ounce of the energy shown in its source material. It's more ambitious than many other anime games, but the execution is severely lacking. So much so that, if Fairy Tail was just another cookie-cutter arena fighter instead, it probably would have been a better game.
Fairy Tail manages to be little more than a mediocre JRPG. While definitely worth serious consideration for fans of the series, it is an irrelevant release for everyone else.
A a licensed JRPG, Fairy Tail is solid and fun, thanks manily toits combat system, but taken as role playing game as a whole, it can feel bland and uninspired. Recommended to Fairy Tail fans only. All the others may want to wait for a price drop.

It's apparent that a lot of work went into Fairy Tail to ensure that it's something fans would embrace.
As a fan of the anime and manga series, I found enjoyable immersion in Fairy Tail for the PS4 and recommend any fans to give it a chance. Other than this fan service, though, there is little to compel a player to continue in this game past the first few hours due to the repetitiveness of battles, missions, and story tropes.
Fairy Tail is a decent RPG experience, designed almost exclusively with fans in mind
Other than the aforementioned issues, I believe Fairy Tail is a JRPG title that's incredibly accurate to its source material, and while the game is more tailored to fans of the series, it still offers a level of enjoyment most anime-based games do not.
A fun dive into the world of Fiore covering most arcs after the time skip. Enjoyable and interesting turn-based combat with plenty of side quests and collectibles to keep you invested through the story. Fans of the franchise should check out this game even if the combat seems like a turn off.
