Horizon Zero Dawn is already an exceptional game in its own right, but on PC it is easily the better experience. Whether gamers weren't interested the first time around or they don't have a PS4 but do have a PC, this is still a must-play. Even those that enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn will find that the PC version brings some new layers to the table thanks to the higher frame rate and improved visuals. The game still adheres to the open-world mold a little more than some might hope, but the environments, story, and gameplay help elevate it enough to be memorable.

Horizon Zero Dawn is that rare gem of a game: it's the one you make an exception for, it's the one you just have to keep going back to, no matter how much you've seen of it before, and now, we have the ultimate version of the game on PC.
Horizon Zero Dawn is high-quality, original and, above all, smart sci-fi that will entertain you. If you are an RPG lover in the open world and you like action and tactics - there is not much to think about. And if you own a PlayStation 4, it's practically a necessity. Horizon Zero Dawn is, as they say, an instant classic.

Reveling in its allure, basking in its glory, and indulging in its refinement, Horizon takes a seat among the PC elite, demonstrating that Greatness has been on-hand, for an entire generation. Horizon: Zero Dawn is, and will forever be a masterpiece.
If the quality of these ports is any indication, we only have to win if they keep coming out as good as Horizon Zero Dawn: The Complete Edition and it’s also a good way of amping even more of the gaming audience up for its recently announced sequel’s release sometime next year.
Not the most innovative game in the world by any means, but one of the best adventures you can go on inside a telly, and one of the most beautiful, too – especially now that telly is a PC.
The PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn is not without its flaws, but it remains a great way to experience a fantastic game.

The variety of well-animated machines and the combat system based around targeting different parts of them is incredibly well-executed and the selection of tools and ammo types is nice. The general combat and gameplay go a long way toward making up for the shortcomings of the game elsewhere.
Already a fantastic game got even better with higher frame-rates, that makes its world even more alive.
