Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Reviews
Fall Guys fails in every way as a video game, but its enormous ability to interconnect people makes it an epochal product. The months and years will tell us whether Devolver Digital's game is a flash in the pan or a phenomenon, but for the moment it has cheered the summer of millions of people.

Fall Guys is flat out fun. It is a must play with friends and has plenty of room to grow. It's silly and competitive in all the right ways. I'm excited to see it's future.
Fall Guys is a great time whether you are playing alone or with friends and family, though it can feel repetitive after you've seen all that it has to offer.
...failure is part of the fun, and Fall Guys makes failing so much fun, that I’ve never been happier to be a fervent failure in an online video game.
Fall Guys may not be the game that I put 100 hours into, but I’m sure happy with the time I’ve put in. Mediatonic and Devolver Digital took the world a bit by surprise with this one. I only hope there are more surprises in store for this floppy, casual game.
If you look through the lens of a “Games as a Service” type of deal, Fall Guys already has a great foundation to be built upon, but at this moment the joy and fun can be snuffed out due to its repetitive nature and lack of more minigames and meaningful progression.

Compete with 60 other players in 3 to 5 random mini-game rounds. At every round, players are eliminated and ONLY THE LAST ONE STANDING wins the crown. There are 25 different kinds of rounds, most of them you will compete against all players and some are team-based. With 3 buttons (jump, dive, and grab) you will race, dodge, chase, use logic, push and grab to qualify for the next round. RNG plays a huge role in the game and TO HAVE FUN WHILE PLAYING FALL GUYS be open to laughing about everything, even when you are the loser.
Fall Guys invites players to Wipeout style tracks with different characters. I can say that it is one of the most entertaining games of the year.

Fall Guys is battle royale at its silliest as you waddle your way through a technicolor game show.
This game is the most illogical conclusion to the timeline we’ve been tracking on, but it’s a refreshing pull away from the all-too-serious shooters.
Fall Guys is a simple yet fun title that is released in the style of Battle Royale and can well take us away from the worries and problems of the world around us for hours. Thanks to the colorful graphics and funny characters, along with simple and short mini-games, Fall Guys has been able to succeed in achieving its goals of creating a simple and transient experience. Of course, we should not forget that this title has problems that can diminish its current popularity over time and will soon be forgotten. The game is currently suffering from a lack of content and a number of easy mini-games, which, if not addressed by Mediatonic Studios soon, will lead to the omission and failure of Fall Guys in the near future.

In its current state, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is funny, thrilling and a joy to play, but as with many games like it, future content will be key in deciding whether it’s a long-term success like Fortnite and Rocket League. For now, though, anyone with a PlayStation Plus subscription would be doing themselves a disservice to not at least check it out — and those on other platforms are sure to get a fair bit of fun out of it as well.
Fall Guys, the latest viral game, is perfect for streaming and YouTube videos and as fun to play as it is to watch.

There are some small niggles that stop it from being great, like the weaker stages and slow progression towards buying cosmetics, but if you’re looking for a fun new multiplayer game, Fall Guys is for you.
Filled to the brim with color and creativity, Fall Guys is an incredibly chaotic and fun take on the Battle Royale genre players know and love. With lots of unique minigames to play through and all sorts of customization options, Fall Guys has something for everyone. Don't fall too hard now!
One or two nitpicks aside, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a ridiculously good time and one of the standout titles of 2020.
It helps that Fall Guys is currently available as a PlayStation Plus free title, so if you’re a subscriber and still haven’t tried it out, this is the best time to do so. But even at its regular price it can still prove to be a worthwhile pickup, if only just for the laughs you’re sure to get out of it.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was the surprise hit that no one — especially not the developers — saw coming in terms of its resounding popularity and success. A slightly bumpy launch will not knock this game down, however, as the dev team is working day and night to get it back up and working to its full potential. If you want to play a quick round (or 10) of addicting eye candy that’s fun for all ages, be sure to pick up Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout as soon as possible.
Prolific server issues and slim bonus settings are holding Fall Guys back for now, but for the time being, the wobbly obstacle course battle royale forges its own path. It's easy to envision the game only getting bigger from here on out—especially considering this launch era has been declared as Season 1, battle pass and all. As a foundation, Fall Guys is an endlessly engaging one. I'll be chuckling as I fumble to finish lines for quite some time.
