Setting themselves aside from other horror developers, Supermassive has delivered a nail-biting romp through a ghost town brought to terrifying life through excellent environment design and lighting. While it suffers from a poor conclusion, the rest of the Little Hope experience is one to be savoured over several playthroughs, or all done in a single night with friends. Either way, this is not an experience to be missed, especially with spooky season just around the corner.
Blair Witch for the Quest is a good game at its core, but one which sadly took a turn for the worse in going virtual. Graphics, gameplay and execution shortcomings make the original version of the game a better option.
A welcome return to one of Nintendos beautiful franchises, gamers will love the magical world of Pikmin.
I’d love to be better at the game, but that seems unlikely to happen. With that being said, I would still heartily recommend it… provided you keep in mind the frequent dying and need for precision timing etc… if that sort of challenge is up your alley then I think you will find a lot of fun here!
A Rouge-Like cross between Braid and Bastion, that's a good thing (without Ron Perlman's voice... that's a bad thing :( )
Similar vibe to free-space, this underwater adventure offers instant action with an interesting narrative story.
In a world taken over by robots, you may find yourself sympathizing with the droids over the people you are forced to be around.
Even with a sizable graphical downgrade, The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners (Tourist Edition) is a wonderful launch title for the Oculus Quest 2. Its attention to detail and outstanding interface truly help the platform and title shine.
Torchlight 3 is the best game in the series, but the new additions may not be worth the hefty asking price.
Walkabout Mini Golf is one of the greatest pleasant surprises in the VR space to date. It's the rare truly must purchase, even more so at such a competitive price.
Mario Kart Live Home Circuit is fun, fun and more fun! Again, there's so much fun to be found in this game plus lot of track creating. However the game feels like you're racing in a virtual Mario Kart title but in the real-world and if you're looking for a game with some escapism to draw you in, Mario Kart Live Home is indeed that game.
So FIFA ends its run on this console generation as the undisputed champion of sales, and will probably remain that way for years to come. Whether EA will try to further innovate the actual game, or if they even want to remains unseen. eFootball PES continues to outshine it on a pure gameplay level, but without the flashy licenses and expensive bells and whistles many will be content to keep rolling with EA's juggernaut. FIFA is still a fun game to play and at times can still be addictive as anything. You just can't help but wish for those two or three major signings that would take it to the next level.
If you are looking for a fun racing style game with some team management to it, then really give this game a look. If you are a fan of monster trucks then I highly suggest you check out this game. It has something to offer to the racing fan and the monster truck fans alike. I would like to see them add a little more to this game with some updates and maybe some DLC's to give it just a little bit more longevity and less repetitiveness. All in all Monster Truck Championship is a solid game and will offer you hours of fun. I'm giving this title 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Warborn is a solid turn based RTS that could stand to take a risk or two. Too safe, needs improvement.
The best of the series but with little improvements over its predecessors, NHL 21 is a respectable hockey send-off for modern consoles. Per prior, NHL still looks and sounds great, but remains hampered by AI and identity shortcomings.
Bartlow’s Dread Machine is very much a steampunk style twin stick shooter by Beep Games. This game boasts both a single player and Couch Co-Op modes.
Kirby Fighters 2 is a fun diversion on the Nintendo Switch that celebrates the history of Kirby and his cohorts in this fun fighting game with over the top visuals, audio and at times mayhem. Check it out if you're looking for something a little different and challenging, particularly on those higher levels of that tower in the story mode.
A true and gorgeous recreation of motorcycle racing. Scratch beneath the surface though and you'll more than a few chinks.
A delightful rogulike where you collect stories rather than powerups. Pendragon is a surprising look at the tales of King Arthur, but it's a little light on the strategic combat.
Hamper the Nazi's plans by staging Guerilla warfare!
