Kirby's Blowout Blast is an action-puzzle game which is perfectly suited for young gamers. The Nintendo 3DS game contains 20 new stages and new boss fights but it does not last long

7.8 / 10.0 - Master X Master
Jul 6, 2017

From the creators of Guild Wars and WildStar comes Master X Master, a new MOBA which doesn't change the typical gameplay of its genre, but shows an interesting PVP and PVE game mode.

8.6 / 10.0 - Elite: Dangerous
Jul 5, 2017

Elite Dangerous is more than a simple 'videogame': it's a mesmerizing space-simulation, which offers the player an incredible experience among the stars. The PS4 version preserves all the quality of the PC edition. It's almost a masterpiece.

6.5 / 10.0 - Dead by Daylight
Jul 5, 2017

The PS4 version of Dead by Daylight has the same flaws of the PC edition: it's funny (especially if it's played with friends), but it also features a bad-balanced gameplay.

Toby: The Secret Mine lacks inspiration and original ideas: it's a puzzle-platform adventure inspired by masterpieces like Limbo and Inside, but it isn't able to rival with them.

Skylar & Plux is the first work of a young and enthusiastic team. The game tries to mix platforming and puzzle-solving: unfortunately this colorful experience does not last long.

Micro Machines World Series is a funny pastime and it represents the perfect opportunity for younger players to discover a wonderful, historical franchise.

Renowned Explorer is a pretty original experience, with various features which allow us to customize our personal adventure. It's a pity that the game offers a lot of boring and redundant situations to the player.

With the N.Sane Trilogy, Vicarious Visions team did a truly excellent job- indeed, it is a product made with utmost skill and passion. The amazing value for money and the great respect shown to its predecessor make it a collection that just can't be missed, whether you are a long time fan of Crash Bandicoot or you're getting to know the series just now.

8.8 / 10.0 - Arms
Jun 7, 2017

A beat'em up of its own kind: ARMS is more than a motion controlled fighting game; is a brilliant new IP, an original take on the genre, and yet another impressive game for the Switch line-up.'Some extra game modes would have been appreciated, but we remain quite confident about the post-launch support.

8.7 / 10.0 - Tekken 7
May 31, 2017

With a stunning art style and a well-balanced gameplay, Tekken 7 confirms itself as an extraordinary fighting game: probably the best chapter of the series since Tekken 3.

7.5 / 10.0 - Phantom Dust
May 22, 2017

The high definition reissue of Phantom Dust is an excellent opportunity to (re) discover a small cult title from the past. A game with a great personality that unfortunately remained confined only to Japan and North America, without ever reaching European territory. The version available on Xbox One and Windows 10 doesn't totally hide the wrinkles - after all, it's simply an HD re-creation of the original - but it doesn't look like a thirteen-year-old game either.

6.8 / 10.0 - The Surge
May 16, 2017

The idea of soulslike ready to approach dystopian science fiction was not only intriguing, but potentially winning. The incipit of The Surge clearly shows a great potential: despite some flows in the combat and growth systems, the game still manages to capture the player, awaken his curiosity. Unfortunately, too much of this potential is lost, due to a bad level design, poorly inspired environments, and a distressing lack of contents.

8.5 / 10.0 - Injustice 2
May 16, 2017

Netherrealm and WB Games pack a new Injustice, and it's more powerful, big and epic then ever. It would have been enough to follow the footsteps of great successes like the latest Mortal Kombat, but it's not like this: Injustice 2 is not a simple reskin with the characters borrowed from the DC Universe, it's a brand that finally reaches its completeness, it's dignity, and now is able to earn a first place in the world of Beat'em up for the general public.

7 / 10.0 - Farpoint
May 16, 2017

Presented as the first blockbuster for PlayStation VR, Farpoint is an interesting title. The game starts brilliantly, astonishes the player thanks to an unexpectedly pleasing tale, and shows an impressive use of the PlayStation Aim. Being an peculiar combination of an FPS and on-rail shooters, the gameplay works very well, but Farpoint loses grip in the last part of its adventure. It runs too fast, renounces to present original and interesting situations, but also to narrate a strong and convincing ending.

On the one hand Shadow of Valentia takes us back in time, paying homage to the golden age of JRPG, on the other hand the new gameplay features give a more modern feel to it. Shadow of Valentia is an atypical Fire Emblem that differentiates itself from the franchise in order to give a fresh approach to the genre.

8.8 / 10.0 - Prey
May 8, 2017

Prey ends up being much more than a mosaic: thanks to its narrative, and the mobility of a gameplay that constantly evolves for the more than twenty hours of the main adventure, the game leaves a trace that ends up being unique.

After the evocative The Unfinished Swan, the developers of Giant Sparrow re-center with What Remains of Edith Finch, a narrative adventure that stages the story (stories) of the bizarre Finch family. Although the structure is typical of the walking simulator, with the spotlight on exploration and narration, the developers demonstrate an original and imaginative taste for experimentation.
