Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is, for all intents and purposes, the same consistent and fun game as always, with several great quality-of-life improvements and eye-catching, revamped visuals. Even reheated, it remains a recommended classic for old and new fans of good old zombie carnage.

With eye-catching visuals, an identity overflowing with youthful vivacity, and a delightful metalinguistic mix that unites gameplay and narrative, The Brave Squire seeks at once to draw inspiration from past legacies and imprint a unique amalgam. The low challenge may not please some because it seems that the great ideas were not properly used, but for others, honest fun will be all that matters in the adventure of Pontinho and his friends.

Akimbot is, without a doubt, a good 3D platformer that honors its biggest and most obvious references, with good world-building, more-of-the-same narrative and competent mechanics. But it dares little and hardly dares to explore anything beyond what we have seen before.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions delivers a simple game without much emotion, but it serves to bring back the Quidditch spirit that many fans of the wizarding sport have waited for over 20 years.

NBA 2K25 is an immensely fun on-court simulator with a vast amount of modes to hook the player. Unfortunately, its microtransactions remain a major negative point in a package that, despite not revolutionizing the wheel, continues to deliver everything a basketball fan needs.

There are several problems that end up leaving the Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown experience far below expectations. However, none is worse than all the technical aspect present, delivering a game in a depressing way at its launch. Fans of racing games and the most patient waiting for improvements can still enjoy the positives if they decide to face the game in its current state.

Caravan SandWitch was supposed to be a relaxing game about exploring a planet aboard a van. But instead, the repetition of scenarios and the limitations imposed by a system of collecting components required to proceed in the story hinder a considerable part of the experience.

Shogun Showdown is a turn-based strategy roguelite that will definitely require all your concentration to overcome your biggest challenges. The large number of weapons and skills, as well as a great setting inspired by Japanese culture, allow the game to hold your attention for many hours.

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland delivers a nostalgic and fun experience, especially for fans of the original cartoon. The aesthetics and soundtrack refer to the times of "The Little Angels", and the idea of transforming babies' imaginations into an interactive adventure is creative. However, the game has clear limitations: its short length and lack of depth in mechanics can frustrate more experienced players. The 8-bit mode is a charming addition, but the multiplayer limitations and inconsistent difficulty affect the replay value. Still, for those looking for nostalgia, it's a good choice.

As much as it plays it safe and doesn't bring many innovative advances to the genre, Yars Rising is a competent metroidvania. The title is permeated by a good narrative seasoning, firm and soaring mechanics, a beautiful 2.5D visual, a beautiful sound composition between music, voices and effects, as well as well-behaved nostalgic pinches.

Elsie is an interesting homage to the classic action and platform games of the 90s. However, the lack of balance in some of its mechanics and challenges to keep the player motivated after the conclusion of the campaign make it just another roguelite in a market already full of options.

A successful showcase in showing that there are great stories in unusual games, Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch has the ability to resonate emotionally in a way that few games attempt with their target audience.

With no major news other than a slight visual and physics upgrade, Madden NFL 25 remains a great sports game. Even without direct competition from other productions for the sport, it delivers a complete experience of this American football for fans, and only for them.

Astro Bot is an excellent platformer. Fun, accessible, very varied and full of collectibles. The references to the various franchises and games that have gone through the history of PlayStation consoles is something sensational, especially the phases themed with specific series. The only drawback is that it's relatively short, and it looks easy for veterans of 3D platformers.

Tiebreak: The Official Game of the ATP and WTA is, in essence, an acceptable game that appropriates old mechanics with some interesting touches. But everything else, such as a simplistic career mode, a broken online system, serious technical problems and a terrible AI prevent the game, even with respectful licensing, from being minimally profitable.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is brutal and bloodthirsty like its predecessor. It has solid mechanics, even if not very inventive and quite repetitive, and is full of clichés on all sides. However, it's the typical action game that works for its simplicity and for going straight to the point: slaughter some aliens without too many questions.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is an exceptional narrative experience, driven by some of the best cases in the entire franchise and a very charismatic group of characters with excellent chemistry with each other. It's a must-have title for fans of the series and deserves to be in the library of every good fan of Adventure games.

The Casting of Frank Stone is an excellent addition to the Dead by Daylight universe, offering an engaging and well-tied narrative full of references for fans of the original game. The focus on the story and decisions creates an immersive and cinematic experience, with well-crafted psychological horror elements. However, the excessive ease of puzzles and skill tests can be disappointing for players seeking a greater challenge. The connection to the original universe and the ability to replay different scenes adds value to the game, but it stands out more for its nostalgic appeal to fans than for its innovation in gameplay mechanics.

Although it brings solid and fun gameplay, Concord fails in several other aspects, including its competitive modes and the lack of charisma of its characters. It's an average experience that can be fun in short doses and rewarding to the player who invests time, but doesn't do enough to hook him.
