Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 repeats the formula with a package full of variety and fun for fans of Tetris, Puyo Puyo or both. The game is a definitive version of the crossover of these two universes — sadly, there's not relevant new content. In the end, it is an addictive dose highly recommended for, mainly, those who haven't played the first one.

GOOD - Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun puzzle game that I can heartily recommend to newcomers as it features bright and colorful graphics, happy music, and a plethora of game modes to enjoy. However, it does very little to improve upon the original game, which can now be purchased for half the price of this one, which gives owners of Puyo Puyo Tetris very little incentive to plop down another $40 for such a similar experience.
Overall, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is an endearing game for puzzle lovers and the young at heart. With colorful characters, quirky dialogue, and familiar puzzle interfaces, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 offers an addicting experience anyone will enjoy.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a high quality game. With its diversity of options, the game offers many hours of fun and can be enjoyed by both beginners and veterans. Even with the mistakes made in the Skill Battles, it is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a new game from the classic puzzle series.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 had a leg up from the start of the project. It’s simple: Puyo Puyo Tetris was already very fun. What do you add? What do you change? There are things that can go wrong along the way, but ultimately there’s still Puyo Puyo Tetris in there.
That said, the game unfortunately feels more like a DLC patch than a sequel title. And in spite of that feeling, they really didn’t improve any of the things that one might have complained about in the original game. Its release also kills off the community for the original game, so if you are a hardcore veteran of the original, it feels even more like you have to pay full price for a patch just to be able to play again, and a patch that doesn’t give you everything you wanted at that.
Overall, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, much like its predecessor is a great game. Once again it combines two of the all-time great classic puzzle games. That not only make both games shine but innovate on both in a new and unique way. Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 builds on this further with the addition of modes such as skill battles while keeping the charming music and art style we expect from a Puyo Puyo Tetris collaboration.
Overall, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a great puzzle game to fill your time with.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a delight. A charming puzzle game that can be challenging in many ways, but delivers a wholesome vibe for the younger audience, while intending to push the intellect of many that have played both Puyo Puyo and Tetris in their own respect.
I may be sounding way too harsh, but don’t get me wrong, this game is tons of fun and stupidly addictive. Sega, once again, delivered a colossal puzzle title that could easily become an e-sport staple. It’s just more of the same. At a cost.
Although Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 contains a variety of game modes, unfortunately, some of these modes weren't of good quality so it would've been better if the devs focused on the quality of modes rather than how varied they are, still it remains a unique experience, especially when it's shared with others, whether with friends or online.
