Overall, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales feels like Marvel’s Spider-Man’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Overall, you do need to remember that this is a glorified addition to the base game and not a totally fully fledged title of the same size as the original.

Although Miles Morales is a very good expansion package with its short story and minor innovations, it has the difficulties of being presented as a new game. A game that Spider-Man fans shouldn't miss.

All of that being said, Spider-Man: Miles Morales doesn’t wield the weighty price tag of $69.99 that other first party titles do and will. The $49.99 price seems to be of accurate value, and since I’m not a fan of Souls-like games and the universally-acclaimed Demon’s Souls does not appeal to me, this is so far, and will likely remain, my favorite of the PS5 launch titles. Like Miles stepping into the heroic role once occupied by Peter, Spider-Man: Miles Morales had the huge shoes of Marvel’s Spider-Man to fill, with all of the expectations that comes along with the title. It’s a little less than what you once got, and isn’t quite the masterpiece of its predecessor, but is still more than worthy of your time and attention. Hopefully, the universe continues onwards with a larger adventure, because Insomniac has created one of my favorite currently-running video game franchises.

though only an evolution and not a further revolution to the Spider-Man formula, Miles’ journey is full of heart, is riveting to play through and a joy to just kick back and immerse yourself in.

When it comes to utilizing the power of the Playstation 5, Miles Morales is a taste of what we can come to expect from this new generation. This is a well polished, beautifully rendered and emotionally engaging game that takes everything that made the first so good and amplifies it with some crackling, juiced-up venom. The ensuing explosion produces a real gem and one well worth the price tag to play.

There's a new hero taking up the name Spider-Man with his own style and a brand new set of problems, but Miles Morales' adventure is just as amazing.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales arguably does a lot of things better than its predecessor. The gameplay and combat have been refined, the swinging is the most fun you could ever have in a modern Spider-Man game, and the story is focused without feeling padded out or prolonged that it overstays its welcome.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales takes what made Marvel's Spider-Man great and builds on it. Having the new Spider-Man Miles Morales finally taking on the role of Spider-Man after his mentor Peter leaves for Europe. Miles must take on new challenges that will test his mettle and allow him to develop into his own Spider-Man. The story has some highs and lows, taking references from Peter's journey but leaves on a high note.

Just like Miles in the comics, Spider-Man: Miles Morales does not try to out-do an already established name. Rather, it carves a new story for themselves in a familiar-but-comforting setting.

If you enjoyed the last game, you will definitely enjoy this one. Being in control of Spiderman is a delight in every single way. Fast travel is a forgotten mechanic as you won't want to waste an opportunity to travel via web-slinging. With such a strong foundation and a rock-solid game that came before it, Miles Morales had some high expectations. In many ways, it delivered what you would want from a Spiderman adventure. It falls short with a weaker lineup of villains and a less interesting story. Marvel's Spiderman was just too good.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a worthy successor to the 2018 game, due to Insomniac’s enriched Marvel’s Spider-Man formula with some interesting systems and delivered an equally interesting (although much shorter) campaign.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales stands out for further highlighting one of the best PS4 games in an excellent expansion of the universe created by Insomniac in 2018. What was already good has been maintained and certain features have been improved. With impeccable presentation and an excellent adventure, its only problem is still being at the mercy of its predecessor when it comes to innovation.

Everything about this game oozes style, Nadji Jeter is the definitive version of Miles Morales thanks to his goofy and geeky take on the web-slinger. Soaring through the Highrise buildings of New York City has never looked better and the extra power of the PlayStation 5 makes things feel more alive than ever before

Spider-Man: Miles Morales represents the breathtaking technological demo of what the new PlayStation 5 is capable of at the beginning of its life cycle. The perfect audio-visual is jeweled by fine-tuned gameplay which has been enhanced by removing a number of annoying features that the predecessor carried.
