Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 greatly enhance the flow of the gameplay and brings somehow better visuals, however, it still lags behind better games and sadly misses the chance to add true innovation to boss fights or enemy types, and while the new story cutscenes will indeed catch the interest of the series mega fans, it's implemented in such a bad way that you'd be better off watching it through youtube rather than way too much grinding and a $60 checkout

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is a title located between remaster and remake. While maintaining the original storytelling, the graphics and combat systems have improved dramatically. In particular, the combat system gives satisfying action fun thanks to the reference of Nier: Automata. However, due to the game’s limitations being a "remaster", there are still divided opinions in the parts that existed back in the original.

Nier: Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a beautiful experience and exactly how you should play this amazing game. Upon finishing, it’s easy to say that it is unequivocally one of the best games I have ever played. This story emotionally moves players with the help of its character-writing, intense action, and somber tone, making it easy to immerse yourself in their world.
NieR Replicant is finally getting its due thanks to upgraded combat, enhanced visuals and one of the best soundtracks of all time. If you skipped out the first time or only played Automata, Replicant is where it all started and worth a visit.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is an action RPG in which we will embark on a journey to save the life of our little sister from a terminal illness. A remake will appeal to both original players and those who did not enjoy the title then. Full of frenetic combats and emotional scenes with graphics and a soundtrack will not leave you indifferent, although with many errors in the artificial intelligence of your companions and the 2D scrolling sections. An essential experience for lovers of RPG.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a wonderful opportunity to meet and enjoy a game that deserves to break out of its niche status, as its formidable sequel has done. I take my hat off to the restoration work, as well as I praise that the original experience is so direct, with the edges that may be there at certain points such as the scarcity of scenarios and areas of action. But by being so respectful in his excellent job of updating, many more players enjoy in a more fluid and improved way something that goes beyond the action-RPG or Japanese cult title.

Showcasing how the original game's narrative still holds up today and gives those who experienced NieR Automata a chance to experience the tale before 9S, 2B, and A2. There are some archaic elements that rely on tedious traveling and item collecting but despite this NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... has the same emotionally charged elements that made NieR Automata such a monumental game.

The plot may be simple, but the way of telling the story has a great impact - it is difficult not to feel uncomfortable with the twists and turns provided by different points of view. As an action RPG, NieR is competent and offers good moments of exploration and combat, but some issues, such as limited and constantly repeated content, compromise the experience. The countless improvements in visuals and mechanics make the game more palatable, but dubious design decisions remain untouched. In the end, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a title full of imperfections which requires a lot of dedication, however the journey is worth it.

NieR Replicant is another brilliant remake to add to the ever-growing collection, with its touching narrative and fantastic combat making it a true RPG gem. Where it really shines though is in the way that it does *unexpected* things. NieR Replicant is constantly changing things up, whether that’s through the gameplay or with a twist in the plot that changes your understanding of the events that are playing out. It’s full to the brim with surprises and they’re all so magnificently presented – it’s what helps make the game feel so special and memorable to play. It’s not completely flawless and seeing everything it has to offer can feel a little bit repetitive, but it’s worth it. NieR Automata might have brought the series into the limelight, but NieR Replicant proves that it was already special to begin with.
NieR Replicant is a sticky one, alright.
A solid and respectful adaptation for current gen systems of a cult classic, overlooked ten years ago but still worthy of our time.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is a thoroughly solid remake of the 2011 insider tip, whose age is still clearly visible despite various cosmetic repairs: The look of the penultimate console generation still sticks to too many models, and the remake still nibbles too much at the long-winded pacing and the repetitive game design. Nevertheless, the dramatic and highly philosophical story behind this facade still knows how to entertain at the highest level even after more than a decade. The artful genre mix, the successful musical background and the self-referential humor hide some of the game's dry stretches. Although Replicant can't quite live up to the expectations Automata created with its successful concept, it still manages to create unique moments that make all the effort worthwhile.

Not all of the original's flaws have been dealt with, but what’s there is enough to make the remaster a more compelling Action RPG for both Nier Replicant and Automata fans alike.
A great game to discover (or rediscover) Yoko Taro's world and the atmosphere of the NieR series. The remake work is not among the best and certainly some choices are questionable, such as keeping the tedious fetch quests, but it remains an exciting and valuable epic and that's why it's a recommended game to play.

For better of for worse, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is pretty much what it was so many years ago. If you didn’t like the original release, then this won’t do much to convince you otherwise, and if you are coming from Automata, this is a weaker game in a lot of ways.
