Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Reviews
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a must-have game for any player. Intergrade further enhances this package, offering a very polished technical look with beautiful graphics. The novelty is the Episode INTERmission which, despite not being exactly mandatory, offers a new story, some new elements in combat and plenty of challenges. It's not exactly short in content, but its price is slightly above what it offers.

Episode INTERmission is a fun few hours most Final Fantasy fans will enjoy. That being said, its short length and uncertain future make this DLC a hard sell at its current price point.
FF7R Episode Intermission is a perfect content drop to tide people over for the long wait until part 2 will release. It shows us some of the events from the main game from a different perspective, let’s us play with a completely new combat style, has plenty of side content to keep busy with and even teases some major things for the sequel. I’ve really only got one complaint and that’s that I wish it lasted longer and had a bit more story content.
The definitive version of a great game, one that complements and builds on the original classic rather than supplant it and the DLC only strengthens that, with a great battle system and soundtrack and an engaging group of characters.

Both Intergrade, with all its glossy bells and whistles, and Yuffie’s engaging and well-paced story in INTERmission are a worthwhile investment if you own a PS5. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the definite edition of the game.
a top-notch piece of DLC that's much more riveting than I was anticipating
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the best way to experience the monumental ARPG and its Episode Intermission is a top-notch piece of DLC that's much more riveting than I was anticipating. I recommend it to anyone who's even remotely interested.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a technical wonder on Nintendo Switch 2. It single-handedly raised the bar on what I thought could be possible on the system, delivering a beautifully realized, engaging, and lengthy quest in the most accessible format yet without sacrificing much on the presentation side.
I’m still skeptical of the remake and I am a purist when it comes to the original Final Fantasy games, and my favorites of the series are turn based. Would I have liked to see Final Fantasy VII Remake be a full turn-based game? Yes. I’m not going to allow that to Cloud my opinion on if this is a good game by itself. The answer to that question is a solid yes. This is a great game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a must buy, regardless of if you played it before or not. It’s the definitive version of one of the best JRPG’s of all time.
Final Fantasy VII Remake delivers an ambitious reimagining of the 1997 classic, featuring dynamic real-time combat, an expanded narrative, and high technical quality. On the Switch 2, the solid 30 FPS performance, the versatility between TV and handheld modes, and the inclusion of the Intergrade DLC make the package even more complete. With accessibility improvements and significant narrative changes, it’s an experience that appeals to both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade delivers an exceptional experience on Nintendo Switch 2, with barely compromised graphics and performance when compared to the original release. The masterful storytelling, hybrid combat, and stellar cast performances will leave new and returning players with little left to desire.
"The Legend Finally on Xbox" Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade offers a thoughtful reimagining of a timeless classic, with a significant expansion of the narrative and a deep refinement of the combat and customization systems. Its complete focus on Midgar gives the characters greater emotional weight. Technically, visually, and aurally, the experience remains robust and polished, delivering one of the best hybrid combat systems in modern Japanese RPGs.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade makes a surprisingly strong transition to Nintendo Switch 2, delivering a stable and enjoyable version of the acclaimed JRPG. While the visuals show some compromises compared to more powerful platforms, performance remains smooth and the hybrid format suits the game exceptionally well. The combat system and storytelling remain as engaging as ever, and the included Yuffie episode adds meaningful extra content. Overall, this is a convincing portable adaptation that proves the Switch 2 can handle large-scale RPG experiences.

Compared to other ports I've seen, if Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade on Switch 2 is a sign of what we can expect from Square Enix in 2026, then I'll be very happy. Unlike certain ports that won't be mentioned, this version of Final Fantasy VII Remake was clearly made with a lot of love and care, bringing an experience incredibly close to the PS4 version. And all this at a very affordable price, considering that the price of games in 2026 is exceeding the $70 mark. However, it's a relatively difficult game to recommend, unless you've never played it before, as none of the features on Switch 2 are “exclusive” to the platform, which doesn't make it stand out that much. But if you need a portable way to experience the beginning of this trilogy's story, then you can purchase it with no worries. Just make sure you have enough space.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Integrade is a fantastic re-imagination of the classic for newcomers or Final Fantasy veterans. The Switch 2 Edition is the most impressive game so far on the platform.
A well-rounded experience with a compelling story, strong music, carefully written characters, and an enjoyable combat system that blends action with planning. It stands out as one of the notable JRPGs currently available on NS2, offering solid performance with a few minor issues that can be improved through future updates, all at a fair price.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an absolute joy to play on Nintendo Switch 2. This fantastic RPG is filled with memorable characters, an amazing narrative, and an engaging combat system that's almost impossible to put down. The game runs great and looks excellent, with performance consistent at 30 FPS. While some visuals can appear grainy due to heavy DLSS usage, it's a small trade-off for having this wonderful game on the go.
Final Fantasy VII: Remake is a unique experience, which risks changing what is known and going further to make us fall in love with a classic that is part of our history.
