Forza Horizon 5 Reviews
Forza Horizon 5 is an amazing game, don’t get us wrong – if you’re a newcomer to the series you’ll likely have a blast, assuming you like car games. Returning fans though can expect a similar experience to past entries. For some, that’s where driver fatigue may very well set in. After five games, at this point, you could argue the series is no longer doing enough to protect its crown as the top open-world racer. It’s the same process of going to a festival, unlocking cars, racing a lot, levelling up and repeating the whole cycle. And the new additions - such as the EventLab - are more reliant on community efforts. It is mostly a flawless experience, but the lack of evolution is how other franchises like Need for Speed fell behind in the first place.
Forza Horizon 5 is the leap to the next generation of Xbox. Playground Games has been able to improve an almost unbeatable experience, with exquisite localization and gameplay, which manage to offer a level of immersion rarely seen before in the open world driving genre.

A great improvement over last entry in the series. As usual, it's hard not to immerse yourself in Forza Horizon for days, weeks or even months.

Forza Horizon 5 offers plenty to do and see in Mexico, though much of it is becoming rather familiar. The latest entry doesn't have as much impact or innovation as each of its predecessors did, but it remains the most enjoyable and customizable arcade racer around.
Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 is as worthy of your attention as it was on Xbox and PC 4 years ago. An almost endless and very fun game that has also come with the accumulated content of all this time.

Forza Horizon 5 introduces a larger, more varied map with even more weather effects and interesting challenges. The same enjoyable gameplay hasn't lost its momentum and there's enough to do that will keep you hooked for hours on end.
Forza Horizon 5 is simply a triumph. On PS5, Playground Games has created an arcade racing game that is complete in every way: fun, long-lasting, technically flawless, and incredibly immersive. It is a game that speaks to everyone: car enthusiasts, casual gamers, and even those who simply want to enjoy an unforgettable adventure behind the wheel. This is not only the best Forza Horizon ever made, but perhaps the best arcade racing game of its generation. If you love the genre, there's really no reason not to jump headlong into this wonderful Mexican adventure.

In conclusion, Forza Horizon 5 is confirmed as one of the best racing titles of recent years, managing to effectively combine all those mechanics that have made the great video game series dedicated to the world of motors famous. The technical compartment is solid and well realized, capable of offering a remarkable visual impact. The audio compartment, of the highest level, also contributes to making the experience even more immersive. The gameplay, although leaning towards a style more arcade than simulative, is intuitive and accessible to anyone. It is precisely this simplicity that makes it so immediately enjoyable, while not sacrificing convincing physics that, at certain times, can really test driving precision. I definitely would have appreciated a more thorough damage system: even after rather violent crashes, the cars remain surprisingly intact, with few scratches and a few superficial dents. Looking at the whole package, Forza Horizon 5 undoubtedly ranks at the top of its genre. A boundless car fleet, a vast and eventful open world, and a well-rendered soundtrack are a testament to how much Playground Games has invested in the quality of this production. The porting to PS5 has been handled excellently: the game runs smoothly, with no noticeable frame drops or major bugs. Is Forza Horizon 5 the racing game that was missing on PS5? The answer is yes. The cross-platform policy undertaken by Microsoft seems to benefit both ecosystems, finally bringing this gem to the PlayStation audience as well.

Forza Horizon 5 brings its expansive open-world racing to PS5 with excellent performance, refined visuals, and years of content updates included from the start. Its driving feels as smooth as ever, and the variety of events, cars, and play styles keeps the experience fresh.
Forza Horizon 5 was originally released in October 2021, but it's still the best in its genre, incredibly fun, packed with content, and featuring impressive graphics. It's the pinnacle of Playground Games' efforts in its highly entertaining open-world arcade driving formula.

Forza Horizon 5 is undoubtedly one of the best racing experiences ever, even though it was originally released in 2021. The PS5 version includes a number of additional features, notably for the DualSense controller, but also for owners of the console's Pro version. However, the addition of Horizon Realms mode and the absence of our PC or Xbox savegame transfer may not be enough to encourage the return of former players. Rather, it's an ideal opportunity if you've never played the game before. To find out more about the title itself, we remind you that you can consult our original test of the adventure.

Forza Horizon 5 has now landed on the PlayStation and is certainly one of the best open world racers ever. Regardless of whether you look at the atmospheric and varied game world in Mexico, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of atmosphere and scenic splendor, or whether you take a closer look at the diverse range of different racing events - Horizon 5 scores on all levels. In any case, the graphics are absolutely breathtaking and allow us to forget about the races during our exploration tours, as there are so many beautiful places to discover that we are also more than sufficiently occupied away from the race tracks. The driving experience, which strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and challenge, is also a great strength of the game, which is taken to a new level by the possibilities of DualSense that Xbox players are denied. If you want to criticize the racing game for something, then perhaps the very tame damage model of the vehicles or the more than interchangeable and actually superfluous story staging around the eponymous festival, which cannot keep up with the actual game world both in terms of presentation and atmosphere. Nevertheless, Forza Horizon 5 is a paradise for car fans, not least because of the almost 900 collectable vehicles and the numerous tuning options. Nobody who is even remotely interested in car racing can go wrong with this great open world racing game, which we can now fortunately enjoy on all major platforms.

Forza Horizon 5 is flashy and vibrant. It's a great combination of arcade racing and simulation depth, all wrapped up in the diverse and expansive setting of Mexico. Forza Horizon 5 is the best racing game on the market, especially when it comes to arcade-style driving. Mexico proved to be the perfect setting for hosting another festival, bringing back the sunny vibe of the Australian third installment. However, the new edition doesn’t revolutionize the series; it’s more of an evolution of what we’ve already seen, with the biggest novelty being the map. The game still looks stunning and leaves the competition far behind, serving as an example of a perfectly developed GaaS.
