Forza Horizon 5 Reviews
A great improvement over last entry in the series. As usual, it's hard not to immerse yourself in Forza Horizon for days, weeks or even months.

Forza Horizon 5 offers plenty to do and see in Mexico, though much of it is becoming rather familiar. The latest entry doesn't have as much impact or innovation as each of its predecessors did, but it remains the most enjoyable and customizable arcade racer around.
Forza Horizon 5 introduces a larger, more varied map with even more weather effects and interesting challenges. The same enjoyable gameplay hasn't lost its momentum and there's enough to do that will keep you hooked for hours on end.
I’m not sure how to further perfect this series, but one thing is certain: the next Forza Horizon really needs to come after a longer break and be a game made exclusively for the next generation, so we can at least get a bigger leap in graphical quality, especially if we can’t draw much more from new environments within this phenomenal concept. Forza Horizon 5 is a beautiful game full of content and fun, the absolute pinnacle of the simcade genre, with virtually no competition. However, it will likely be most appreciated by players who haven’t played the previous installments.

The ultimate arcade racing game, with the only competition being the previous game in the series.
Forza Horizon 5 delivers a visually stunning and highly polished open world racing experience that's fun for racing veterans and newbies alike.
Forza Horizon 5 is a triumphant achievement, and puts Playground Games in the pole position of being one of the most talented developers in the gaming industry.
Forza Horizon 5 resembles Forza Horizon 4 in terms of modes, gameplay and driving experience though, it's the "fabulous" graphics and gameplay content that makes it one of the few games which deserves to be called a Next-Gen game!

Forza Horizon 5 easily cements itself as one of the premier racing titles of 2021. Playground Games have implemented a multitude of fantastic features and quality of life improvements that make this game so hard to put down. The story and characters are largely forgettable, but practically everything else about this open-world racer is top class.
It's hard to find much negative to say about Forza Horizon 5. The gameplay is fun and varied, the music is solid, there are tons of cars to unlock, and it's absolutely gorgeous to look at. The whole package is really breathtaking. Playground Games found so many ways to make Mexico come to life, taking great advantage of the region's diversity, while also pushing the Xbox Series X hardware to its limits. If you own the console, you owe it to yourself to check out Forza Horizon 5, whether that means purchasing a copy of the game, or playing it through Xbox Game Pass. It just might be one of the best showpieces for the next-gen era thus far.
Forza Horizon 5 is the first true next-gen production of Xbox Series X|S (excluding Flight Simulator). In terms of production, the work is truly impressive and can only exalt the talent and skill of Playground Games in knowing how to create a video game that is both enormous in content and technically astounding. The Mexican Horizon festival is a real love letter to car game lovers, as well as a beautiful postcard to one of the most beautiful settings ever seen in a video game. Forza Horizon 5 is a masterpiece that will leave you speechless at every KM and entertained at every turn, ready to take its place among the best games of 2021 and therefore deserving of our award.

A perfect balance between arcade and simulation. Racing game of the year, no competition (at least until Forza Horizon 6 comes out).
From the diversity of its events to the number of cars you can collect, this game is massive in every sense of the word.
Forza Horizon 5 features a frankly intimidating breathe of activities to take on at first. Through smart progression and a narrative that feels better integrated than ever, it breaks its monstrous map into manageable chunks, guiding you between wildly different event types with finesse. It's yet another near-flawless entry into the series, and a must-play for Xbox players who have even a passing interest in racing games.
Forza Horizon 5 drops players into the beautiful setting of Mexico where the sun will shine, but where it can also be treacherous as players will also have to navigate through thunder and sandstorms. As they progress through various events, players will be called upon to drive around various areas of Mexico expanding the Forza Horizon festival across the country and opening new types of events; races, off-roading, sprints; just to name a few.
Forza Horizon 5 is a delightful experience, no matter if you’re mainly playing offline or in online matches with your friends. It’s easy to pick up and love.
Forza Horizon 5 continues to focus on the joy of driving with a reverence for its environments, and it's still a winning formula.
Playground Games didn't really leave any room for criticism. Forza Horizon 5 is the perfect culmination in the series, and more of that excellence that the franchise built in previous installments. the studio was able to set its foot in the open world games genre, and create a spin of innovation for a racing game on its own, and thus was able to make the best car racing game in history and at a level that is far from the rest.

Forizon Horizon 5 is the near-perfection of the franchise. Everything from past titles has been built up to this moment. A memorable location, unforgettable set pieces, solid and addictive gameplay, a killer soundtrack, and gorgeous visuals. One of the best games of 2021.
